Introduction
Business consulting is the process of identifying and giving solutions to an organisation
in their management and in their operational activities so that they can achieve their
organisational goal as soon as possible (Ratalewska, 2018). It mainly focuses on the issues faced

Identification of client and their issues
The clients are the students of Regent College which is located in London, UK. This
college is a Non- Profit earning organisation. Hence, their main aim is to educate their students
more effectively to help them to improve their life standards. In recent time students and also the
teachers of this College are facing many problems and some of the common and issues and
challenges faced by Regent College are explained below-
Influence parents and students for admission in College- Regent College is a Non-
Profit earning institute. Hence, the main issue for them to influence the parents of
students that the college is well organised and good for the future of their children. The
mindset of parents and even students is that the following college will not focus
effectively on students and their careers. Hence, this mind set is a big issue for College
(Haapakorpi, 2020).
Cultural issues of students- They have students from worldwide which means students
from different cultures, languages, looks and etc. hence, to maintain good environment in
college by teaching their students to not involve in discrimination factors and respect
each other is tough work for the college.
Experienced teachers- They are non-profit earning institute hence, they are not able to
provide a good amount of salaries to their staff. Due to this issue they are lacking behind
to hire experienced teachers who have better knowledge of practical and theoretical
teaching (Benazic, 2021).

Lack of high reputation- This is a serious problem for this College. They are little bit
unpopular in front of other colleges in UK due to their campus areas, their management
and their total number of students. This problem is created by their competitors. The
more popularity of other colleges attracts the attention of parents and students to take
attention in other colleges than Regent College.
Lack of investment in development of College- This College was established in the
year 1984 and there are only few changes adopted by the College for their improvement
in staff, campus, management and many others.
Lack of technology- The reviews of their students about the college is mostly upon their
technology. Student’s states that they are lacking behind to adopt some advanced
technology which will help in experiments related to studies and other field (Krüger and
Teuteberg, 2018). Regent College is not able to adopt advance technology for teaching
good and practical knowledge to their students.
Lack of promotion for college- Promotions are very important for any organisation to
aware their customers that they exist and about how they work and for what they work. In
context of other colleges than Regent College in UK, they promote their Colleges in
many ways like in providing advertisements in TVs, showing campus drive through their
social media account and many more. In context of Regent College, they are lacking
behind to adopt appropriate tool for their promotions and due they are lacking behind to
explain and influence their facilities to students and their parents.
Solution of issues and challenges
It is necessary to identify the solution of issues and challenges as soon as possible to
perform well in industry (Asadi, 2021). The Regent College have some solution for their above
mentioned issues and challenges and they are mentioned below-
Solution on the basis of their competitor’s analysis- It is important for Regent
College to analyse who are their competitors and how they manage their colleges well. It is very
important for Regent College to identify the factors for other college success. By this way they

source to collect any required information. Due to this they can share their available facilities and
aware more students and their parents.
Solving issues by target customers- They can solve the issue of influencing parents
and students for admission in college by identifying who are their main customers and what all
factors help them to influence them for the admission in college. To analyse targeted customers,
it will save the time of college and efforts to only promote their college in those areas where they
are little more popular. Target customers will also help them to solve their issue of cultural
conflicts between students they can tell the importance of each other’s culture and teach their
students how they can respect others without any discrimination (Oke and Fernandes, 2020).
Solving issues from factors of external environment- External environment plays an
very important role in solving most of the issues and challenges of Regent College and some of
the solutions are explained below-
Political factor- This external factor includes the government and tax policies of
government, trade restrictions, government stability and many others. In UK, Regent
College is beneficial from their political factor because they have good policies in favour
of colleges and there are no trade restrictions. The government is stable here; hence it will
help the College to maintain their management properly.
Economical factors- This factors include economical growth, employment rate, interest
rate and many others (Steiner-Khamsi, Appleton and Vellani, 2018). In context of Regent
College, they can solve their issue of lack of development of college by taking loans from
banks and invest in improving their colleges because UK has low interest rates which are
0.1% so there is no burden on them to repay loans by paying high interest rates. Another
issue of Regent College can be mitigated by hiring more teachers and experienced
teachers because of UK employment rate are high which is 99%.
Social factors- Regent college can identify all social factors like culture, beliefs and
many other factors of their students and try to make them understand what are the
importance of each student in their College. This will help the college to eliminate
cultural issues of students.
Technological factors- This factor involves the use of high and advanced technology in
a country (Khabarov and Volegzhanina, 2019). UK has modern technologies for their
country to develop. Hence, Regent College is required to analyse appropriate

technological requirement in their Campus and order that technology to solve the issue of
lack of required technology in their college.
Three main issues of client
From the above mentioned issues and their solutions it is evaluated that some issues
impact less upon Regent college and their management but some issues impact high level of
negativity upon their College and the reputation the College and some of this issues are
explained below-
Lack of promotion of college- This is the main issue of Regent College. They are not
paying much attention in promoting their college and mentioning the facilities which they
have in their colleges to grab the attention of students and their parents so that they can
take admission. It is very important for every kind of organisation to promote well about
them and their products and services offerings (Dopson and et. al., 2019). Due to this
issue most of the customers of this college are unaware about their facilities and due to
this there are fewer admissions in Regent College as compared to other colleges.
Lack of investment in development of college- Most of the people notice that what the
main areas where the colleges get developed are and with the high development they get
impressed. In Regent College they did not pay much attention in development of their
campus. Other colleges have developed with high speed but Regent College did not and
due to this reason also they are lacking behind to compete well with other educational
institutes. This will also impact badly upon their reputation.
Cultural issues of students- It is notices that Regent College students are facing
problems nowadays to communicate with others students because their students are from
Non- European countries also and they are having different culture, different languages
and many others. Due to this issue their students did not create a good environment to
study together and learn things with each other. This issue also create lack of
communication among students in colleges which is also not good for the reputation of
Regent College (Altaf and et. al., 2019).
