INTRODUCTION

according to their business position and the issues that are faced by them. With the help of it, all
the organisations that are not able to perform all the operations systematically can find ways to
resolve all the issues (Arno and Goncharova, 2017). Present report is based upon analysis of
Regent Group London. Different topics which will be covered in this project are analysing the
problems faced by the entity and the important areas that require higher attention. Apart from
this, three major issues are also discussed which are leaving huge impact upon the entity.
MAIN BODY
1. Clarifying the client and summary of problems faced by the entity
Regent College London is one of the largest universities of London which are proving
industry related senior education to the students. It also educates diverse community so that it
can actively promote learning and education for maximum number of individuals. It has multiple
campuses in London and the university is highly dedicated towards academic virtue. It has high
level of experience of providing education to the students who are from different back grounds
and abilities.
By analysing the case of Regent London College, it has been determined that the
organisation is facing different types of issues. All these issues are as follows:
Brand awareness of college in the industry is very low which is resulting in continuous
reduction in the number of students who are studying in it. Due to this problem the
college is not able to generate targeted revenues.
No promotional events are conducted by the entity which is resulting in weak positioning
of it and continuous reduction in the number of students. This issues is affecting the
organisation massively as it directly affects the market share which is being captured by
the entity.
The number of colleges in London are increasing continuously which is creating highly
level of competition for Regent College. This problem is leaving negative impact upon
the position and performance of the university. All the new colleges are using latest

Weak market research strategies, is also an issue which is faced by Regent London
College. Due to this the entity is not aware of the changes that are taking place in the
industry and resulting in lower market share of it (Darko-Ampem, 2017).
External environment factors such as government, political etc. are also leaving negative
impact upon the client's performance. The policies, rules and regulations of governmental
bodies changes with time. For all the entities such as Regent college it is not possible to
make changes in its practices according to it. Due to this the threat of interference of legal
authorities in business gets increased.
2. Critical analysis on the areas of importance of the client
There are various types of problems that are faced by Regent College London. In order to
find best suitable solutions for all of them it is very important for the top-level executives of the
college to pay attention towards some specific elements. These are required to be focused to
analyse the best suitable ways which could be used to overcome the difficulties. All of them are
described below:
Competition: It is one of the key elements which is required to be focused by
management of Regent College as it can help to formulate new strategies to deal with high level
of competition. With the help of it, the college can compare the technologies of itself with the
competitors so that it can also use them to provide education to the students.
Target customers: It is also an important factor which is required to be focused by an
organisation which is planning to attain growth. By paying attention towards the targeted
customers who are students and their parents Regent College will be able to find best suitable
solution for the problems that are faced by it (Kerr, Atkinson and Cooper, 2016).
Market and influencing factors: In order to carry out all the operations systematically it
is very important for all the organisations to analyse the market and the key influencing factors
as it can help to formulate effective strategies. In order to deal with all the problems that are
faced by the organisation this factor is required to be taken in to consideration.
External environment: The key elements such as political, environmental, legal,
economic, social etc. are the components of this factor. It s very important for Regent College to
make sure that all of them are taken in to consideration while forming new policies as it will help
to make appropriate changes in them.

3. The top three issues of the client
From the above discussion the three major issues are figured out for Regent College. All of
them are as follows:
Issue 1: Lower brand awareness is the main issue which is faced by the college as it is
resulting in continuous decrement in the number of students. Reason for considering it as the part
of three major issue is its negative impact upon market share of the entity.
Issue 2: Increasing competition in education industry of London is another problem
which is faced by the entity. It is considered as the part of three major issues because increasing
number of universities in the city is affecting the mind set of students and they are switching to
competitors (Vecchi, 2017).
Issue 3: Continuous changes in government’s policies is the last issue which is majorly
affecting the entity. Reason behind it is that if the entity will not be able to change its strategies
accordingly then it may create legal interferences in operations.
CONCLUSION
From the above project report, it has been concluded that when an entity is not able to find
appropriate solution for its issues then it should pay attention towards business consulting. The
key factors which should be focused to find solutions are competition, market, targeted
customers and external environment.
