1.1Executive Summary

1.2 Introduction
The report highlights the different problem which is being faced by both the
client Fairefield School of Business and London School of Science and technology.
After that report explain the industry overview underwhich both the client used to

1.3 Problem Statement
Fairefield School of Business: Fairfield school of business is facing the problem of
competition in the market (Sun, Gao and Shi, 2020). As it has been identified that
there are many new universities and education centre have enter into the market..
This has eventually created a negative impact on the performance of the University
and has impacted the sustainability of the business in the long run(Ezrachi and
Stucke, 2016). Increasing competiton not only used to impact the sustainability of the
business it also used to create extra pressure on different department such as
marketing and sales in the university.
London School of Science and technology:London School of Sience and
technology is also facing the problem of competition in the market, as it has been
seen that due to good amount of the compedition in the market due to the same they
are facing the problem of reduce amount of admission of children in the University.
This is bringing a good amount of the impact on the profitability of the business, as
student fees is the only way through which organization used to earn a profit, reduce
profit has created the problem of less amount of the profit for the organization (Mead,
2018).
So after going through the problem statement of both the client it is clearly
states that both the organization are facing the issue of competition in the market
due to the same Fairefield school is trying it hard to maintain good sort of stability in
the organization. At the same time London School of Science and Technology are
facing the issue of reducing profit of the organization in the long run (Olivas and et.al,
2018).

1.4 Industry Analysis
Looking at the education industry of the UK it has been identified that there are in
total 700 colleges who used to provide different learning to the student in the market
(Aithal, 2017). It eventually represent that this industry is very competitive in the
nature.These University used to provide the services of variety of different type of the
educational courses in the nation(Jones and Sufrin, 2016).
Fairefield School of Business: Looking at the courses which is generally
provided by Fairefield School of Business it has been identified that the University
used to provide a good sort of management courses in the University (Fairefield
School of Business, 2020). Also, University is specialized in providing the Public
health and social care courses in the nation. In the current scenario there are many
University who has enter into the market, who used to provide the same courses with
the help of more innovative way of teaching in the organization. As it has been
identified that London Metroplitan, University of Oxford are few example of the
University who are in the industry from long period of time and able to build good
goodwill which help them in seeing good amount of the student toward the same. At
the same time University Like of University of Birmingham used to attract the local
student of the University with the help of bringing variety of the innovative idea to
enhance their learning. This eventually used to help them in attracting the learner on
the basis of the same. One of the example of innovative product is offering Virtual
open day this eventually used to help them in explaining the different features and
benefit which will be offered by the University to the student (Fairefield School of
Business, 2020).
London School of Science and technology: Looking at the colleges which
used to provide Sience and technology learning in the education industry of the Uk, it
has been find out that there are many colleges and out of which some of the colleges
like Lancaster University, Imperial College of the London and has created good
name in the same field and due to the same they are able to build good goodwill of
the company in the market (Jain, Aguilera and Jamali, 2017). Goodwill generally
used to work as a marketing element for the Big university, this used to offer the
good amount of the challenges for the University like London School of Science and
technology to survive in the long run.These are the University which is situated in the

UK but the University Like UCL, King College generally used to impact the local
performance of the LSST as well, as these industry used to attract the local student
from the London(Shaikh, 2016).
1.5 Clien’s Issues
Fairefield School of Business: The first issue which for the University is that
University used to use the outdated technique in the organization to attract the
student toward the same. As it has been identified that learning provided technique
are not that great. Second issue which is being faced by the company in the market
is training of different teacher in the University. It has been identified that teacher in
the University generally used to provide the different learning with the outdated
technique, as it has been identified that there is the issue of proper training and the
learning in the organization(Thurow, 2017). Last issue which was identified in the
organization was innovation in the organization, as it has been identified that there is
lack of innovation in the different services which is being offered in the market. As it
has been identified that Fairefield School of Business has not brought the variety of
changes as per the changing environment need in the industry and need of the
student which is prevailing in the market.
London School of Science and technology: The first issue which is being
faced by LSST in the market is the lack of marketing service of the company in the
market, as it has been identified that organization do not used to use good marketing
platform in the organization to promote the product of the company in front of the
other, these has eventually increased the impact of competition for the company in
the long run. Another issue which has been identified of LSST in the market is that
there is lack of Brand awrness among the student in the market, this eventually used
to creater the variety of the issue in relation to attract the good number of the student
toward the different courses of the University in the market. Another issue which has
been identified for the business is that the different services which is being offered by
the colleage in the market is not as per the customer requirement in the market this
eventually used to reduce the amount of the customer interest toward the different
product which are being offerd in the market(Telser, 2016).

1.6 Recommendations
After going through the Industry analysis and issue which are identified that
Fairefield School of Business has to make sure that they used to adopt the new way
of providing the treaching to tthe student in the organization, one of the best way of
doing the same is that they can provide online learning and also can use the variety
of the different type of the technology in the organization to enhance the level of the
learning which is being possess by them in the market(Acemoglu and et.al., 2016).
At the same time it has been recommended to LSST that they uses the
different marketing platform in the organization to build the good brand awraness of
the company, they can go for social media platform in the organization. As it will
eventually help them in seeing better number of the consumer in the market(Kim,
Choe and Petrick, 2018).
1.7 Conclusion
After going through the above report it has been concluded that both the client
in the organization is facing the problem of competition in the organization . For the
same reason LSST has to see decrease in the profitability of the company. At the
same time Fairefield School of Business has seen reducing sustainability of the
business. After that the report concludes the industry overview and also different
recommendation to overcome issue in the market.
