Answer 1
Dear Kobe Bryant,
I am a big fan of you and your game. I have worshipped you and followed your game
since I was a kid. When you first played in the year 1996 and then I saw you play for Los
Angeles Lakers, I was smitten beyond words and you introduced me to the world of basketball.
The game that you put in the NBA league is worth mentioning because you had just suffered an
injury and you did not play in too many matches till then. You have more two summer Olympic
gold medals and in both the games you were phenomenal. Every time someone stopped you
from playing because of your injury, you bounced back stronger. When your match used to come
on the television, I would drop everything and watch you play with amaze. After the NBA
playoff, there was no stopping you from breaking records after records. You won the first title of
your life when I was working. You have been nominated and recognized by various platform and
they have lauded you as the best player in the 2000s. Once I started following your games, I
started reading books and articles about basketball. I started playing for my college team and I
have posters of you all over my room. I have put huge efforts to learn the game and have tried all
the tricks you try but to mimic a legend is a puerile thing to do. I have self learnt the game by
following you and watching you play the beautiful game. I have spent so much of my pocket
money on buying jerseys, the shoes that you wore, the way you won every match you played. I
had fallen in love with the game by watching you and your talented antics. I have kept all the
clippings of your games saved in my hard disk and I keep watching them all the time. I am a
journalist in a leading newspaper and I written various articles on you which have got published.
Though I wanted to personally drop a message to you or interview you, I never had the chance to
meet you in person. If given half a chance, I would meet you once because that is one of my

dreams to meet you and interview you. It would be difficult forme to believe that I will never
have the opportunity of meeting you. I am writing this letter with the hope in my heart that you
read it and agree to meet me. It would be a dream come true if I get to meet you once in my life
and talk to you about your life, the achievements you have made. It would be a pleasure to meet
you and know more about the legend that you are Mr. Kobe Bryant. I have watched you play
with marvel and I have always thought that the movie ‘Dear Basketball’ was adeptly written and
made as a tribute to you. I humbly request you to accept the invitation of meeting me. I will
consider it my life complete if I have you sitting across me on the same table, in the same room.
Answer 2
The article talks about how managers and employers shape the future of their workplace
by instilling confidence, care and compassion in their employees (Success 2018). As an
employer, I am expected to put my best foot forward with prudent analysis of the surrounding
situation and I need to tackle every problem to boost the confidence of the people employed
under me. I have to be open to constructive ideas and I need to weed out negativity and
encourage innovation and risk management at workplace. The employees spend most of their
time at the work place and it is the responsibility of the managers to ensure that the employees
are in a conducive environment and are given enough opportunities to flourish (Jones 2012). As
the CEO, I have to morally motivate and encourage the employees to take risks and help them
come out of anxiety and apprehension before taking any difficult decision. The employees need
to be explained by me or by my subordinates that failure is not important but it is more important
to understand the true potential of the employees and acknowledge their talent and growth.

I know Mark Zuckerberg as the CEO of Facebook and world’s one of the richest men.
Even though he is one of the biggest entrepreneurs in the world who has achieved everything
from the scratch with his own merit and hard work, he takes pride in doing philanthropic
activities which inspired me to become like him. He is the youngest self made billionaire who
has set a benchmark for all the others who are coming into this business and as a CEO I try to
follow his footsteps. He has made social media a thing of respect and endeavor with his
persistence. This social media platform which is accessed by millions across the globe, a
household name bringing people together and helping them connect across the globe. He is
undisputedly the king of the internet and a thing which started as a startup has gained immense
recognition and respect in a short span of time. The youngest billionaire and a talented
entrepreneur in taught in Business schools to let students know how to conduct a business and
gain recognition.
Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla have two kids, the youngest kind being August. I came
across a photo of the father and mother duo posting of their dear daughter August to welcome
her home. Therefore, calling Mark Zuckerberg, I will congratulate on becoming a father and
welcoming August home and also tell him how big a fan I am of his hard work and
entrepreneurship skills. I will call him and convey my greetings on Father’s day for being the
father of two beautiful kids and bringing them up with compassion, love and care. On the call, I
will also tell him that I am hugely impressed by his entrepreneurship skills and that I try to
imbibe his precision and skills in my startup business. Being a CEO of a start up company, I can
tell him how I try to inculcate his practical knowledge in my day to day business and try to
replicate his analytical and technical skills.
