in business management
Reflection of learning
By studying for a degree in business management I have learnt various things that made
me understood about what the culture is and its impact over the behaviours of the students. The
degree enabled me to gain key skills of the business world. The business management skills such
as communication, management, leadership, critical thinking that I have gained with the program
will help me in performing variety of roles related to business. These skills inbuilt the behaviour
of responding to challenges of the business and culture of the society efficiently. Earlier before
attending the learning sessions I have already developed the understanding of certain
behavioural expectations that are required to learn the business management concepts in most
efficient manner. Moreover , during the module I have come to realize that culture also plays a
very important part in making the students learn about various business related concepts .
However, I have created awareness that absence of the cultural knowledge only cause
misinterpretation of students behaviour and also acts a major part in creating conflicts during the
learning sessions. Furthermore, I have come to know that due to cultural differences students
have different views on one particular statements and values of education. Also, prior to the
module I have little awareness that culture determines the teachers learning and teaching style to
some extent and hence it is crucial to consider this element while delivering any business
management topics (Martin and Côté, 2019). Furthermore, I have realized during module that
if there is any kind of unexamined belief than it only leads to the loss of valuable time and
creates misunderstanding that only hampers the growth of both students and tutor. Moreover, I
know that with changing culture beliefs there are changes in certain business management
concepts however these were understood clearly by me in business management course where
concepts such as diversity, inclusion and equal rights etc. where been discussed in detail.
Future implications
This learning would allow me to work efficiently within diverse groups. Also, in my
future studies and career I would be able to respect and accepts the cultural differences of
various students that causes differences in the opinions among various people. Furthermore, I
would help me build the great vision so that more awareness and knowledge regarding current
challenges among the students might be identified that will further help to deal with others

through following set professional code of conduct. Also, it would help me to take certain
responsibilities so that greater teamwork and coordination might be build with different teams.
Moreover, knowing the behavioural expectations would clearly help me to work and be
prepared for any retail sector in the future. Also, it would allow me to enhance my current soft
skills so that it would allow me to accept the others cultural differences in right manner.
Implementation
I would practice and apply my learning in future retail organisation that I aim to work
through ensuring that individual differences are respected and valued. Also, I would ensure that
all the learning is been practice on regular and timely basis so that consistency might be
maintained. Furthermore, professional behaviour would be developed towards the staff and all
others in the organisations as part of my learning (Bradshaw and et.al., 2018). Moreover, I would
carry out business tasks in accurate manner and ensure that positive relationships are maintained
with other culturally different employees through developing active listening skills that would
further reduce the chances of the conflicts and the negative working environment in the business.
Also, I would practice this learning in my future organisation through analysing each
individual strength and weakness so that appropriate behaviour might be displayed to all others.
Furthermore, I would ensure that effective communication skills are been used on daily basis so
that diverse group understanding at the workplace might be made.

Reflection
This is the first time during the module that I have learnt about peer to peer learning
where students that are learning in same level engage in collaborative learning (Wise, Knight
and Shum, 2021). Also, I have understood that through peer to peer learning the students are
able to develop the positive attitudes and are more personally engaged that leads to the higher
achievement. Moreover, earlier I have thought that learning of the business management course
might be only from the tutors and not from any other team members. Also, my understanding
about this topic got more clear when during the module I was asked to be part of the discussion
seminars where certain business related topics where discussed in detail. Furthermore, through
finding out the solutions about various business problems I have understood that collaborative

working make the learning more easier and also helps in greater team building. Moreover,
through getting the detail knowledge about the topic I have realized that best practices might be
shared among the students only when they are quite supportive and understanding towards
each other so that greater team working might be developed. Also, I have learnt about this topic
that peer to peer learning helps in developing less formal environment and make feel
comfortable in sharing various business related information with each other. Furthermore,
through this topic I have learnt how to compromise on various things and requirements of the
good team team player . Also, earlier I have thought that best learning experience might be
gained only when tutor has clarified various business management topics but however this was
proved wrong after peer to peer collaboration where I was able to develop higher level thinking
and improve my various interpersonal and social skills that are required for the future growth
and success in any field.
Future implications
Through this learning I would be able to gain extra knowledge and develop greater
understanding while carrying out any group activities in the future. Moreover, this would assist
in future learning through allowing me to develop greater social skills so that I would be able to

Workplace, 2021). Moreover, it would helps in developing greater engagement with my team
members so that any learning in the future might become easier. Also, it would assist in future
through allowing in knowledge learning with other people and gaining new insights about
various course related things. Also, this learning would allow me to create process that would
allow to develop the safe environment that would encourage more trust and transparency while
learning any new concepts practices from the peers. Moreover, this learning would guide my
behaviour towards various students that are engaged in peer to peer learning in any future course
of events.
Implementation
I will practice the peer-to-peer learning that I have learnt during my degree. I will
motivate my peers at the work place to work together in a team and solve the problems. We will
overcome all the challenges efficiently through effective team work (Kumar, 2019). The practice
of peer-to-peer learning will enable me to in improving my self by working upon the
