Online shopping is enhancing now a days within all over the world. It is developing
organisational performance and enhancing their profitability as well. Within a time of covid 19
pandemic, many of the organisation in UK are forwarding towards online shopping and
enhancing their customers through proving online products and services. This provides certain
facilitates to the customer and becomes a efficient platform for the company to work
significantly in a market (Plangger, Hao, and Rosengren, 2021). Also, online shopping is leading
to rises and bringing inflow and outflow of the organisation. Further, it will also reduce the
unemployment rate from UK and provide employees to many of the people. This is a
presentation which includes problems statement and objectives of a given topic of online
shopping and also it identifiers the data of rise of online shopping topic. The next it includes data
interpretations and recommendations of a given report.
Objective
The main purpose of this report is to provide a true and reliable data and information
about a topic of online shopping rise in UK. It is highly satisfied and helps in collecting and

them and this has resulted in loss of organisation profits. The rise in UK economy is resulting in
enhancing of the online shopping within the organisation (Athanassiou, 2021). Now a days many

of the companies are moving forwards to online shopping at internationals and national levels.
This helps in benefiting the organisation profits and a systematic growth of the company.
Rationale of choosing this topic
The rationale of choosing this topic is that it will be helpful to the organisation now a
days to become digital and provide their services online to the customer. So, it is important to
discuss about this topic to the students and to the researcher as well in order to get more
information about a particular topic and getting enhanced some of the skills like research skills
and communications skills (Vekemans, 2021).
Methodology
In this particular research, researcher is suing secondary data collection method which is
conducted through analysing different books and articles and related with the organisation profits
and revenues. Further, it helps in achieving research aims and objectives. This method brings
theoretical information and data and also resulted in getting true information about a specific
topic and completion of a project (Webb, and Bale, 2021). It consist of some of the websites
which considered the accurate data and findings and is collects through quantitative method.
Quantitative methodology brings numericals and practical data in relation with a chosen topic. It
includes use of charts and graphs which provides charts and graphs in order to collect data and
findings. Also, it makes easy for the researcher to provides valid and reliable data to the audience

shopping and they are purchasing more at online shopping as compared to physical shopping. In
the above graph, data is applied to the two age group of people such as 16-34 and the other is
above 35. from the graph, it is considered that from last 3 to 4 years of data it is to achieve higher
preferences from the growth of UK market. It helps the companies of UK in order to collect and
achieve the higher performance and profitability. Also, it helps in concerning about high value

shops are shifted towards online up-to 12%. then other department stores moving to online up to
11%. the next is household goods stores and shop which re selling other team is having 8%. then
next is shops which mainly deals in selling food products are developing up to 4%.

After the break of covid 19 pandemic, many of the people shifted towards shopping online rather
than physical shopping. The reason behind is that customers do not wants to touch anything and
they were at home during lock down. So, this becomes their necessary to purchase online
products and services. In this shopping can be provide various options and categories to the
customers so that customers could find variety of options to shop which one. There are some of
the recommendation made for UK online shopping stores which are discussed below :
The UK people are shifted towards online shopping in every sectors at a time of covid 19
pandemic. This will helps the organisation in creating growth opportunities and
developing a profits for their company.
The next is government should support online shopping because this will attract more
customer and by this employment rate will also get enhanced. It will be applied within
systematic community projects and in the co operative business as well.
Companies should also try to understands about the needs and preferences of customers
and work on those requirements. This will helps in development of the effective
technologies and enhancing more customers.
Further, company should also work on providing some of the discounts to the
organisations and this will attracts customers towards achievement of their gaols and
objectives. Also, it will be also get enhance and customers purchases more.
Conclusion
From the above presentation, it is concluded that online shopping is very much efficient
for the organisation in order to develop their organisational profits and revenue. It also helps the
company in becoming successive and creating growth opportunities in international market and
enhancing customer base as well. This will be helpful in development of the revenue of
company. In UK market, different sectors are using online shopping which helps in developing
their actions and being friendly with customers. This will be helpful to attract customers towards
the brand and also used at pre, post and during at a time of covid 19 pandemic.
