By this, we have come to the end of this case study report on Business Decision Analysis.
The world changes eternally on a global rate and requires people who matches that pace of
change going on in the external environment. This change is impacting day to day activities of
organizations, making it competitive or submissive in terms of manpower capabilities affected
by various factors lying in internal and external environment. In such scenarios it is mandatory
for any organization to apply effective corporate strategies and corporate decision making tools
for organization stability. This case study report aims at drawing potential inferences by
gathering 26 probable workers, enquiring them on their reasons of redundancy. This provides the
report a concrete foundation for further discussion on the problem and finding out its solutions
for the fact to sack people on certain factors discussed above. The assessment done by the group
members is based on few effective Management models like SWOT analysis, for analyzing the
internal and external forces that effects the organization. The Strength and Weakness implies
internal study of a particular subject to give an overview of what internal factors are high about
that particular company. Similarly, the opportunities and threats are the two external aspects that
defines the external position of a particular company in a given condition. The SWOT analysis is
done to plan the company strategies in order to manage both the internal and external factors
effecting the company. The next strategy used here, is the Decision Support System which is the
computer based system to take effective decisions and choosing the best out of the available
alternatives. The most useful tool that has been used Cost-benefit analysis to examine that which
employee provides the cost benefit to the company. Companies nowadays depends mostly on
powerful strategies and want to eradicate such employees who has no cost benefit to the
company. Pareto’s model was also used to extract the result and to emphasis the decision of

retrenching, dismissal, redundancy or redeployment of employees. By applying Pareto’s model
the main finding of this cae study report is to retain efficient employees and eliminate those who
increases the cost factor to the company with no productivity. Companies nowadays run on a
single idea of less input and maximum output. Thereafter, reasons for redundancy has been
extracted from the 26 number of different employees listed above. The reasons like, aging
process of existing employees, poor communication skills, employees measured on the key
performance indicators or it can be also termed as low performance scale. Other reasons
mentioned as poor civil on social media such as face book reviews and poor skills and
experience match. Rate of people who have been retrenched are found effective on these reasons
and has to leave the organization as early as possible. Lastly, after applying all the analytical
decision making tools and combined management tools, finally as per analysis 26 employees
were sacked from the organization.
