1.0 Self-reflection on personal learning and
development, and the transferable skills
It is been identified that self reflection is important for the
personal development of an individual at the time of learning
and developing various skills in the academics. it is very
important for the individual to learn the basic concepts which
can help in developing their career. The personal learning
involves the revising to the content which is been taught in
class. It is very important for to develop various skills which can
enhance in by productivity. It is very important for me to learn
the various strategies which can help me in developing my
goals and objectives of achieving good marks and getting hired
in a reputed organist.
1.1 Identification and reflection on my approach to personal
learning and development
The personal learning and development is defined as the process of
developing the learning and lifelong skills. This is the process where the
individual focus on the personal development by increasing the
efficiency and developing the various skills in order to be different from
others. I have identified that there were few activities on which I
concentrated in order to develop my self in a different way. There was
lack of confident in me at the time of joining the University. This was the
major issue which I need to be develop. I observe that with the time
frame and performing the task within the classroom I was able to
develop confident in front of my peers and teachers. The learning which I
was able to develop was the understanding of the brief of marketing and
finance filled. It is very important for me to develop the skills which is
required in being a marketing executive. I was able to use different
approaches to learn to different aspect It is very important for me to
understand the importance of self learning which will enhance in in the
development of my work. The various approaches such as revision,
exams can help me identifying whether I am able to understand the topic
or not.

by attending this module
There are various skills which I have already developed by
attending this module is discussed below:

 Information technology skills- This was the skill which I I have
learned during this module. It is observed that the information
technology is the most important skill which need to be acquire in
order to work effectively and efficiently. During the module my
professor focus on the technological skills which is useful in the
further career. I am able to grab the information and able to know
the basic knowledge of computer. The technology helps in
completing the designed task in an effective manner. In respect to
the organization the people are dependent over the technology
and the individual should have a knowledge of the technical terms
which can enhance the efficiency of the people
 Listening skills- This is the skill which is most important for an
individual. I was able to learn this skill at the time of this module
because to listen carefully is the most important in order to perform
the task in an effective and efficient manner. The listening skill
have been development by the academic learning and this was the
very effective for me in completing my assignments with the clarity
is very important for me and for my career development to listen to
the people and their views in order to understand and make the
right decision.
1.3 Skills I would like to develop during my academic studies,
personal life and the workplace
there are various skills which I would like to develop during my academic studies and
within the personal life and the workplace which are discussed below:
 Analytical and research skills- This is the most important skill which is
required to develop for the further self development. This is the skill which is
related to the ability of an individual to solve the analytical problems and find
the information in an effective way. The research skill for me is important as
being the marketing executive it requires to do market research which need to
be identified in order to know about the customers. Also this can help me in
completing my projects and assignments on the right time.
 Communication skill- This is the most important skill which is required in the
time of the academics and while studying the various aspects in order to
effectively communicate with the other people. As in respect to my filed the
communication plays a major role and I need to develop my communication
skill which will enhance the productivity. This is very important skill which I
need to acquire so that I can perform well in my marketing filed and also get
the good academic marks.
