BACKGROUND
1. What led to proposed project
Birch community centre is the entity which is not at its 100% capacity yet there are many
enquiries are there regarding the use of hall which needs to be turned down due to peak time
clashes. Now, entity wants to become more pro-active so that they will able to secure the new
customers so that they will able to increase the usage of building. Company also want of develop
effective delivery partnership in order to create community initiative. Therefore, students of
business and strategic management required to conduct a further research for analysing what
needed in BCC organisation for making the better use of current facilities and for justifying the
funding of new extension. Students also wants to identify the categories of users in order to
recommend the use of social media as well as traditional method which used in marketing.
2. OUTLINE/SCOPE OF WORK
Description on issues and areas which needs to investigate with its key deliverables
The issues and areas needs to investigate in this work there are such four different
categories under which researcher will work which are as follows-
Venue hiring:
Public service providers: In order to attract more customers, entity will provide their
rooms and hall to government body for conducting any meeting or event.
Voluntary and community sector group: Entity will also provide venue services to
such group in where members of such group will able to conduct the charity programs for
people who are in need. Private hirers: in order to maximise the use of building, entity will hire the venue for
private function as well. Such as wedding and for private parties.
Pre school and after school club:
For maximising the use of building it is the another where entity will provide the services
of venue to pre school and after school club which require hall or building for a whole day.
Community activities- for local residents:
BCC owing to currently use the main hall which is by the children's groups. Thus, this is
the place which encourage the participation of child. Entity will conduct the religious activities
for local residents children's so that will provides their participation more efficiently.

Potential private sponsors-local businesses:
In order to create adequate funding for improving existing building, BCC will resettle
refugee with the private sponsorship.

4. Instruction manual
For expanding the business operations and to attract more customer it is important that
entity must have qualified staff (Gripper, 2017). Duties of trustee is to set out the practises
effectively by which fund will get raised where trustee must have to plan effectively where
he/she must have to agree and monitor overall approach of the charity. Such plan must needs to
account the value of charity, its relationship with donors and needs of income and expectations.
There must be a system where trustee will able to oversee fundraising activities which carried
out on behalf of charity. Trustee must have to protect the reputation, money and other assets by
identifying and managing the risks. Proper duties will be assign to staff so that they will monitor
each and every activity very effectively.
5. Measuring the success of project
The success for this project will get achieved by following each and every step correctly.
In this work, firstly issue has been identified where it is analysed that BCC wants to attract more
customer and also wants to satisfy the needs to the community. In order to fulfil such needs
proper marketing plan has been executed in this report where it is suggested to entity to promote
the activities by updating their websites and promote such functions through social media
marketing. In this report proper role of trustee will also be evaluated so that effective fund will
get raised in order to execute the plan.
