INTRODUCTION
Personal development plan can be described as a source of planning performed by an
individual in order to develop their own personality for better future results. For every individual
it is necessary to develop a PDP which will inform them about their current skills and how can
they improvise those skills for enhancing their efficiency. This report covers a brief PDP that
will evaluate my own strengths and weaknesses in relation with the learning goals. Also, this
report will provide an understanding of different strategies developed for the purpose of
achieving my learning goals (Baharun and Adhimiy, 2018). Lastly, this report will cover my
personality analysis and my future aspirations regarding the learning module.
Learning on the Module
Personal development plan is a process of creating a plan based on awareness, reflection,
planning, goal setting and values for this plan. My current education is based on the business
organisations and skills required for working in practical environment. Also, if I want to mention
about my previous qualifications then it would be in Economics school. I have worked for
Logiforce Ltd. where I have leaded the distribution team. My SWOT analysis can be performed
as follows:
Strength: I have performed the role of leader by leading the distribution team in the above
mentioned company.
Weakness: My weakness is that sometimes I may not be able to understand the customer
demands.
Opportunity: There are various opportunities for me in different organisations as a leading
position.
Threat: Also, there is a threat of the current competition in the external environment which can
restrict my growth prospects.
Personality analysis: If I want to analyse my personality then I can do this by using 5 factors
namely; esteem, safety, self-actualisation, belongingness needs and lastly physiological needs.
These are the five different types of needs which describe my personality (Baldwin, 2019). My
aspiration is to become an individual who have enhanced its effectiveness by devising various
strategies.
My study skills include the communication skills, leadership skills, coordination and
cooperation, problem solving skills. These skills are my learning goals that will help me in

in understanding the requirements of their customers in the practical environment. These skills
help in the overall development of productivity and profitability of the company. Next is the
leadership skill, which transforms an individual into an effective leader by developing an
efficient team who is working towards the attainment of organisational goals. Cooperation and
coordination is very important in an working environment. Cooperation describes that employees
of the company is cooperating with each other for the development of their personality.
Coordination is how an employee coordinates their work with other employee to ensure smooth
flow of information across the company. Problem solving skills helps in diffusing complex
problems and finding critical situations to ensure success and growth. My learning goals ensure
learning these Skills through proper time management techniques (Greenlee and Andrus, 2017).
Also, it is important to develop a reading habit which can be included as a learning goal in my
PDP. Emotional intelligence is also important to be developed for an individual and this is also
another learning goal.
Strategies for achieving goals
There are various strategies that can be devised by me for developing my own learning skills
and achieving my learning goals. These strategies can be explained as follows
 Self-discipline: A disciplined person can achieve anything Anne who lacks the self-
discipline can become obstacle for him. By installing right habits in my life I can ensure
that my learning goals will be achieved effectively and enhance my growth prospects.
 Mitigate distractions: Distraction sometimes interrupts are progress and to diffuse these
distractions concentration is the key. I have to be focused towards my learning goals
which will help me invoking towards the attainment of my learning goals.
 Leverage daily goal setting: Goal setting is very important to ensure the achievement of
long term goals of an individual and make it easy towards the achievement of the goals.
 Managing time: Time is a tool which if used effectively then it can help in focusing on
long term strategic goals. I should implement the quadratic time management system
which will split my time into four separate quadrants (Laiho, 2020). This technique will
require focus and efforts from my side which will help me in managing short term crisis
and problems and focusing on my strategic goals.

From the above report it can be concluded that skills defines the personality of an
individual. Therefore, it is necessary to develop effective skills in order to achieve the desired
goals. PDP helped me developing and improvising my own skills which includes namely; team
building, effective communication skills and my organisational skills. Also, the result of this
module has impacted positively on the overall performance level of my own career in near future
while conducting the practice in the organisation.
