INTRODUCTION
Business is firm in which an individual take set of action to start and run business through
offering specific products and services in order to gain revenue in return. Adapting to technology
is one of the key issues faced by the company as there are numerous development in technology.
Therefore, it is difficult for the organisation to adapt to new technology as per trend in order to
grow and survive in external environment. The project has consist of three parts such as the first
part explain about the business issue, second is reflective piece of writing related to whatever
learned from module. At last the report has depicted crucial information related to personal
development plan that could be used by student to improve its strength and overcome weakness.
1. Discussion of business issue using wide varieties of research material
In current business environment, there are dynamic changes such as policies of
government, economic condition, taste and preference of people and technology that adversely
impact on smooth operation of business. Likewise, with impact of covid-19 and changes in
technology, companies have started making use of digital technology to connect and retained
strong relationship with customers. So, while changing itself with update technology, there are
certain key issue that are face by business such as lack of right system and knowledge related to
procedure about the way technology can be used within organisation (Christensen and Knezek,
2020). Furthermore, companies does not sufficient skilled, knowledgeable and qualified
employees that have adequate capabilities to effectively make use of available technology for
benefits of firm. Lack of financial and support of management to quickly adapt to technology is
also one of the business issue face by company. In addition to this, there are some organisations
that face high resistance from employees to make use of new technology while delivering
services to customers. Employees have lack of confidence, knowledge and some amount of
threat that whether they would be able to learn method to use new technology or not. All these
lead in challenges for the manager to brining changes in organisation so that company can stay
ahead in competition. For example: in making use of digital technology to promote products and
services to range of customers by company it is not able to decided the platform that could be
used, type of content and image that would help in attracting maximum individuals (Lee and
et.al., 2019). Companies do not skilled employees that have knowledge related to making

attractive content that can easily influence customers to select particular organisation as
compared to others. Moreover, it can be stated that they are also facing issue in adapting to
technology such as automation and information that they can make use of analysis and store
information. Such as information technology helps in accumulating and extracting necessary in
order to take right decision for expansion and growth of business in competitive environment.
The strategies that are being adapted by the company to cope up with the situation or
issue of adapting to new technology is that manager has conduct market research and analysis in
order to know what is happening in external environment or current technology. Thereby,
planning method that could be used to adapt new technology such as rewarding and recognising
employees are ready to change with changing environment (Mahmoud-Jouini, Fixso and Boulet,
2019). Furthermore, it can be stated that it has also focus on hiring more and more talented,
youth employees that have knowledge and specialisation as well as interest to make use of
innovative technology while completing their respective task. At the same times, some of the
organisation to overcome the issue related to adapting technology face by business lay efforts on
finding alternative sources from which fund or resources can be arranged for meeting the end
objectives.
From the above analysis it can be concluded that there are range of key issue that
business face while operating its function that barriers in effective growth and success of
organisation. Furthermore, it can be suggested that business through arranging sufficient sources
of fund and having qualified, skilled people that have knowledge and interest to new technology
can easily attain growth in international market. Therefore, the report has understanding that
overcome of business issue is necessary for achievement of end objective of company.
2. Reflective writing
Reflective writing refers to the making of reflection on the basis of making an expression of
thoughts and ideas in words (Williams, Woolliams and Spiro, 2020). In reflection an individual
would be able to make expression of thoughts and thinking with the help of words and academic
writing. Reflection would enable to make the expression of learning and thinking in the form of
writing. Reflective writing should always be made in first form.
During the module I had learned various aspect regarding learning. During the various
sessions I had learned that how to make notes, how paragraphs are formed. I had also learned the
concept of academic writing in respect to studies. I had also understood the concept of reflection

that it is used for making an expression of the ideas and knowledge with words. I had also
learned the referencing along with its important that it add value and authenticity to the work. I
had also learned the interpersonal skill that me understood regarding the value and various new
skills like the teamwork, leadership, communication and various other. I leaned that what is the
importance of various skill towards the academics that how it may assist in reading and various
other learning towards the coursework. I had also understood and learned that how to make
Harvard referencing. This can be evidenced as:

The learning is so important for me because it will assist me in my future course of

research well performed because of the learning of the research skill. In the same way the
learning and the knowledge about the referencing would help me to make my future research and
other work to be authenticate and valid.
This learning will help in my career plan and future development because with the help
of this learning my future goal of working in academics would be assisted. This will also lead me
towards my career because it is the base that I have made and learned during my module. In the
same way with this learning I would be able to make my career to move in right track because
these learning and knowledge would assist me in knowing the technicity of the academics that
how to make career and what are the aspect that are needed to be considered by me. These
learning would also assist me in my normal life because the academic leaning and the skill play
an important role in the daily life too wherein an individual would be assisted that how to behave
adequately and how to make expression of thinking in the right words.
