1BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT
Choosing the particular course of education is being based on different factors such as the
career prospects and future potentialities and growth. Moreover, in the current time, selecting the
ideal and suitable course is more difficult because of the competition in the market. With the
increase in the inflow of the thousands of students each year in the colleges, getting admitted in
the selected course is becoming more difficult and challenging. However, I am fortunate enough
to get the admission in my selected university and with my selected course. I got admitted in
Torrens University in Adelaide with Masters in Business Administration. Torrens University is
one of the leading educational institutes in Australia with having popularity in the global market
as well. Torrens University is situated in 2012 and is currently offering both post graduation and
under graduation courses. It is reported that as of 2018, Torrens University is having more than
10000 students including the foreign students. Another reason for mine to select this university is
to the quality of the education. This is due to the reason that Torrens University has already
gained its fame for quality education and infrastructure.
On the other hand, the major reason of mine to select the masters of business
administration course is its potentiality in the future. This is due to the reason that most of
famous business personalities in the recent time are masters of business administration. Hence, it
gained preferences for me in terms of my higher education. In addition, it should also be noted
that I have completed bachelor of business administration, which supports the masters of
business administration in better manner. There are number of reports that about the potentiality
and growth in the long term of masters of business administration, which states that career
growth process will be more stable and certain with the completion of masters of business
administration. Hence, I have selected this course and that too from Torrens University. They
have gained an immense brand value for quality of education in masters of business

administration. In terms of the past experience of mine, I have completed bachelor in business
administration, which is the foundation course of what I am doing now. Thus, I will have the
advantages of having the basic understanding about I am going to learn in the masters of
business administration course. In addition, I have also worked for part time job for 1 year in
between my bachelor course, which also enhanced my effectiveness in terms of the corporate
exposure. This will also help me in getting a good job offer in the later stage coupled with the
masters of business administration degree.
Being graduated with bachelor of business administration, I have the required knowledge
and understanding about what will be studied in the masters of business administration and how I
should get prepared. However, the more beneficial for me was the corporate exposure for 1 year
due to the reason that it helped me to implement my domain knowledge in the practical situation.
In the further stage, this will help me in aligning the knowledge to be gained from the masters of
business administration course with what I have seen in the real workplace situation. My
effectiveness and skill sets will get enhanced with the proper balance of education and practical
knowledge. On the other hand, in terms of preparation for masters of business administration, I
have put the maximum effort on gaining the knowledge about the current affairs due to the
reason that current affairs will be beneficial in the business situation. In doing so, I leverages on
newspapers and other online sources that helps me to have the idea about the current trends and
practices in the business sectors.
Ensuring the fulfillment of the desired outcome from the course is important because of
my long term success. However, in this case, there are certain standards principles should be met
in order to ensure the desired outcome. The first yardstick will be the midterm exams that will
examine the preparedness in the course and will also help to identify the areas of improvements

in the later stage. Moreover, I will also give more value to the feedback of the tutors due to the
reason that they will be the best stakeholder to judge me and guide me. Thus, on the basis of
their feedback of the tutors, I will develop myself. The feedback of the tutors will also be
beneficial for me in monitoring my studies due to the reason that they will be able to identify my
gaps. I will also take the online mock tests in periodical manner to analyze and evaluate my skill
sets and development. In terms of applying for further studies in the future, right now I do not
have any plan for the further studies. This will be based on how I am performing in the masters
of business administration course. At the end of this course, if I found potentiality in continuing
with further studies, then I will opt. Moreover, the change in the business factors and situations
will also determine the same as I might opt to study something that will have relevance at that
time.
In terms of setting of goals from the completion of masters of business administration, I
would like to fulfill the current business and corporate needs of the business sectors. In addition,
I will like to achieve the state where I will be able to contribute in the organization success in as
many ways as possible. Thus, the enhancement of the value of mine is aimed by me from the
completion of the masters of business administration course. It can be concluded that completion
of the masters of business administration course will help me in gaining the maximum
effectiveness and efficiencies in the workplace. In addition, I am also expecting that completion
of the masters of business administration course will also help me in gaining more competitive
edge in the current highly competitive business state of affairs.
