Reflection
Description- This reflection is based on group assignment of introduction to business
environment. In this assignment Facebook was contextualized for organisation. This assignment
was a group assignment and this is why my group decided to share responsibilities of group
presentation. Responsibilities divided on the basis of researching about particular topic from
different online and offline sources to include in assignment (Markkanen and et.al., 2020). In this
assignment every one of us firstly prepared draft and shared with each other in order to check the
draft. Once work off everyone was checked by other team members we created a final
assignment or presentation. We focused on effectiveness and accuracy of content that we include
in group assignment and sharing of task allowed us enough time to get accurate and right
information. This also helped us in remain clear about our participation in group assignment it
and this helped us in timely completion of group assignment.
Feeling- Before coming together for the assignment all of us were worried about workload and
working together for the assignment. However, when we started assignment and shared
responsibilities we were not worried anymore and during the assignment everyone helpedus
other regardless of the responsibility is in group presentation. The feeling was better when we
completed our presentation on time. I believe that other group members also had similar feelings
about group presentation. Because as we discussed with each other group members were also
worried that how we will managed to work together and during working on the assignment all of
them were having similar feeling that it is nothing difficult and complex like everyone was
thinking before starting assignment.
Evaluation- Concern with the experience that I and my group head during completion of group
presentation they were nothing that can be considered as bad. However certain things that I
believe that was not good were that sometimes I was not able to participate in group assignment
like all other members of the group (Tawanwongsri and Phenwan, 2019). This is because of lake
of team working skills. However inconsiderate of any other factor group assignment was
completed on time and every member of the group along with me participated and worked to
best of our capability. One thing that didn’t go well during completion of the assignment was
that one of the group member misunderstood what the responsibility was and researched about

the topic that it they were not expected to. Because of this 1 task was researched twice and one
remained incomplete and repetition of task also required additional time.
Analysis- The reason because of which everything went well was that everyone was motivated
to complete group task on time and also effectively having high quality of group presentation.
Certain things that didn’t go well because of misunderstanding however because of effective
coordination and support within group up we were able tocomplete presentation on time and also
so ensuring quality of group presentation (Tanaka, Okamoto and Koide, 2018). On the basis of
this it can be considered that support and coordination within group is highly important to realise
group objectives effectively. Academic literature about teamwork also suggest that support and
coordination within group is very important for timely and efficient completion of given task and
for realisation of group objectives.
Conclusion-During and after completion of group presentation I learnt that it is very important
to have team working skills because along with academic they are also important in in
employment. However overrule experience and completion of group presentation was good but
effective coordination and understanding would have saved us sometime to recheck presentation
and identify anything which is not as good and can be improved. However on the basis of overall
experience of group presentation I believe that in order to improve my participation in similar
situation there are certain skills that I require to develop (Dhaliwal, Singh and Singh, 2018).
Having these skills would have helped me in better contribution during group presentation.
