Business environment is the main
part of an organisation. The
environment are of two types
such as internal and external. The
company can easily control
internal environment. Sometimes,
these both the environment can
impact on business operations.

Different types and purposes of
organisations
Tesco is a public limited enterprise. In the market, there are
different types of business organisations like public,
private and voluntary sector that help in developing the
economy of nation. The objective of every business firm is
different from each other.

Private sector- Private firms are those which are run or
operated by a person or group of individuals where
government does not interfere. These types of enterprises
generally work for earning the profit. In private sector
included personal sectors, the multinational or corporate
sectors etc.

Voluntary sector- This enterprise is mainly the non- profit
business organisation. The voluntary organisation
generally run their activities for social welfare. It is the
third sector where many individuals or group of persons
enter into a contract known as volunteers.

Size and scope of different types of
organisations
The size of every business enterprise is different from each
other. There are three types of organisations:
Public sector- This sector works for fulfilling the needs and
wants of people. It is generally contributing for the
economic welfare and development of people of country.

Private sector- Main objective of the private firm is to earn
profit by satisfying the needs and wants of customers.
Private firms produce and develop the products and
services on the basis of customer's tastes and preferences.
In private sector, most of the companies are operated and
run by a sole proprietorship, some are run in partnerships.

Voluntary Organisation- It is the third sector and the main
aim of this industry is to work for the welfare of society
and it not works for earning money and profits. This
sector has three supportive components and those are
trustees, funder and volunteers.

or objectives of every business organisations are
different.
