UK are set to be increased 53% within 10 years. High streets are failing during pandemic
situation retail sales growth is lifting to various restrictions for purchasing pattern of high street.
UK high street shops are closed to cut off in store sales has changes in high streets and cost are
increased and customer switch to spending on some technology and digitals services instead of
shift in online shopping that’s why street shops have been closed during this pandemic situation.

Positive impact for development of society:
For shoppers, it has a wide variety products are available on online shopping in
one space.
It has parking facilities as compare to high street shops and wider variety of

improvements to staff earning are good thing because many small firms are find it difficult offset
rise in low profits. Inflation means growth are rise and customer are purchasing more in high
street almost half of UK stores would increase their business rates over a year.
Lack of infrastructure: Many high streets shops are faced a difficult situation during
pandemic situation to get those of travelling. Lack of affordable prices, parking has made
securing spot and many more. Many local types of council are routes for public transportation
but considering require a ticket and suddenly it becomes cheaper to look than travel to high street

current situation is needed to be updated and more flexible (Miller, 2020). They believe that

considered that high streets are retail focused and second is fragmented ownership of high street
and town centre ownership. Pressures on retail sector that shop closes in year of august 2018, 28

retail research. There are number of affected stress in retail firms are compared the recent years
and shopping of internet is becoming popular day by day as compare to high streets shopping
and sales are increased from 5% of retail sales and internet sales accounted for 18% of all retail
