before starting up the new business. To get a better understanding of the objectives and

coming up with the best idea for the business. As the demand of variety in food has increased
and also there people like to visit new places it can prove to be a good idea to start new business
in. CURRY deals with the fast food line. It is easy to start a business as it can be initially started
with very less capital investment and and also risk involved in it is very low. For a food line
business it is important that the selection of location is carefully done. The location should be
one which is easily assessable by all and the surroundings should be healthy enough so that more
customer wish to visit the place. It is also important to first do the proper study of the other
competitors that are already available there in the market. As the demand for food industries has
increased the supply has also increased in the same amount. Therefore it is important to come up
with innovations in the product. CURRY should introduce new product types and also unique
style of serving the food can attract more customers(Ebert and Giffin,2014)As people are very
choosy with their selection of food items the place should be designed in a attractive manner as
people like clicking photos with new things . These days theme based restaurants are very
popular and if the restaurant is based on theme it gives more impact. The theme can be used to
select the special food items and entirely a different culture could be set up in the business. It is
important to study the price of the other related products that are already present in the market.
The price should be one which is best suitable for the business and for the customer. In the to
today's world where digital marketing has become very popular it can be used to promote and
also to provide services to the customers. CURRY entrepreneur can create own website and
provide home delivery services to the costumers. It helps in covering more market and also the
restaurant comes into the knowledge of more people. They can just post the fancy picture of their

The objective of opening a new restaurant is;
1.To earn more profit:As it is a business which has a good demand in the market it can help in
earning good profit and also it is a primary objective. In order to maintain the profitability the
company has to make sure that there are income is always more than the expenditure of the same
time period. For this it is necessary to maintain control over different activities of the business
like the production and operations activities so that the profit margin can be maximised.
2.New food items:Since there are many other options available in the market another objective of
the restaurant business is to provide customer with better quality and the dish should be
innovative.
3.Productivity: Customer is the king of the restaurant business therefore it is important to satisfy
the customer and it should be the main objective of the firm. In order to full fill this objective the
biggest challenge with the CURRY restaurant is to find good and effective working staff. As
there are many firms dealing in the same business line it becomes difficult to find good staff
which is skilled and on whom company can rely on(Peteraf,Gamble and Thompson,2014)It is
important to provide employees with good training of the work culture. The employees should
made familiar with the equipments as it helps in developing good productivity.
4.Best taste:Depending on the nature of the dishes they should be best in their taste. It should
posses the quality that it can defeat the dishes provide by other restaurants of same type.
In order to achieve these objective it is beneficial to have partnership in the business. It is easier
to form and also more resources are available with the entrepreneur to start a new business.
When partisanship is done the risk is distributed among two. In case the business experiences
loss it can be shared therefore one will not face big financial loss. If a person is running the
business all alone he has more burden and there are chances that the business may suffer loss due

The business operates in the business environment which is dynamic in nature and therefore it is
important to study all the factors that may influence the functioning of the business. There are
both positive and negative effects of these factors and no control can be done on the functioning
of these factors. The various factors are
1.Political analysis: The food industry in U.K. Is so much affected by by the political factors.
The political factors for the food industry business are concerned more for employment and
health and safety issues(Blumberg,Cooper and Schindler,2014)The U.K. Government is very
strict with the rules relating to the hygiene of the food which is served in the restaurants. The
food retailers have to maintain the quality of the food. It should be healthy and also there are
rules in connection to to the maintenance of good transport,promotion policies and selling of the
product. Government may charge fine or even cancel the licence depending upon the degree of
violation done.
2.Economic analysis: These factor are very dynamic in nature and affects so much to the food
chain business. This is a combination of interest rate, taxation, consumer disposable income, or
inflation in the market. All these make monitory issues in the market and accordingly the
behaviour of the consumer changes. If there is inflation in the market the capacity of buying of
an individual decreases. This result into decline in the demand of outside food in the market.
This will directly affect the total sales of the product and the profitability of the restaurants.
When the disposable income of the consumer increases it also increase the purchasing power of
an individual as they have more cash in hand to spend. This will increase demand in the market
and therefore the business can earn more profit. Therefore it depends so much on the economic
factors that how people respond to the food culture.
3.Social analysis: It is the combination of changes in the culture, lifestyle, population trend and
mobilisation. Any change in the above factors bring change in the total sales and profitability of
the business. People get influenced with things very easily. They follow what the group of
people follow without giving much thought to it. If there is a trend that everyone is becoming
health concessions others also start the same this affects the food line business as if people
become more conscious they will stop going out for dinners and will prefer home cooked food
more. There is no control over these factors as trend keeps on changing with the change in time.

industries. There is a continuous improvement in the technology which has given the food

they will have more customers and by fulfilling the demand of customer long term relation with

these decisions involve quality management process and capacity design location strategy job
design and human resources etc. They need to be taken very careful as they are the base of the
business.
2.Tactical decision: Food service,food quality and safety,embracing technology,marketing
creativity all this comes under the tactics of food business(Samli,2011).These decisions are
important to maintain good image of the business and also help in facing the outside competition.
3.Strategic decision:Business planning,manufacturing planning and making of master Plan
comes under the strategic decisions. It is done by the extreme head of the business as it involves
full knowledge and has to be carefully done.

Supply chain
As the business is new and dealing in the products which are perishable in nature the supply
chain should be small. There should be less intermediaries involved in the supply process. The

from the wholesale departments as the raw material is required in bulk(Hsu,2011).In food
