A) Ethics is essential for people to have a
peaceful social and business environment.
There is always the option to choose
between right and wrong but prioritising the
rightful activities more than anything can be
recognised as ethics (Bardill et al., 2018).
The citizens of the country have to follow
ethics in order to lead a life without
breaking rules set by the government or
else certain punishment will be provided to
ensure an ethical society in the country.
Implementing an ethical environment in the
working place has been the most effective
strategy for organisations and companies
for increasing the performance of
employees and also for enhancing the
revenue of the company. The factors that
can influence ethics are –
Individual Factors Individual factors
play a major role in terms of building ethical
behaviour within an individual. The
situation factor can influence the ethics in
people such as – the upbringing of a child
happened in the righteous family will
increase the chances of that child building

Therefore, living in a peaceful country and
also growing up in a family of honest and
good people will influence an individual to

Organisational Factors – The segments
which enable ethical behaviour in the
organisation can be considered to call as
the organisational factors that influence
ethics. The organisational factors are
important for conducting the organisational
business ethically. Therefore, it can be
assumed that the employees need to follow
the ethics code if the organisation has an
ethical environment and the organisation
will have an ethical environment for
increasing the trade value (Markham et al.,
2018). This is how ethics can be influenced
by organisational factors.
Legal Interpretation – The government of
the country is responsible for making laws
for the citizen’s within and for making
peace, the government needs to implement
certain rules that will prevent chaos and
make peace in the country. This will only
be possible when the law will be created
based on implementing an ethical
environment in the society so if a particular
citizen has to live in the country legally then
that citizen needs to follow the law and
restrict themselves from doing unethical
activities (Saltelli, 2020). This is how it can
be said that ethical behaviour is influenced
by legal interpretations.
B) For increasing the productivity of the
company or organisational business,
workplace ethics is necessary. Workplace
ethics is about implementing an ethical
environment in the company which
influences the employees for doing the
ethical behaviour for doing well in the
company. There are beneficial sides of
workplace ethics that can help the
company to make a profitable business.
Employee performance can be increased
by using workplace ethics. Job satisfaction
can be achieved by creating equality in the
working place and also by reducing gender
discrimination as work ethics (Sennett,
2018). The organisational citizenship can
be achieved by making the products which
are environment friendly and also good for
the public health standard and this will
reflect the fact of implementing the work
ethics in the production place of the
company. For example, the Tesla
Company is using workplace ethics in the
company which is helping the company to
increase its brand value and also for
conducting its business profitably. The
company has been manufacturing that

uses electricity as fuel other than using
traditional petrol or diesel as fuel. Patrol
and Diesel is the non - renewable energy
of nature and the usage of these energies
as fuel releases harmful gases which
damaging nature by doing air pollution. So
the Tesla Company is making vehicles that
run in a totally environment friendly way
which reflects the code of workplace ethics.
Also, the Tesla Company has been doing
internal auditing frequently which is
providing the company an idea of
happening fraudulent activities in the
organisation (né Hoffmann, 2021). This is
also helping the company to influence its
employees for doing the ethical work or
other required charges will be taken
against that particular employee. In this
way, the Tesla Company has been
ensuring ethical behaviour in the workplace
and conducting their business successfully.
C) Laws are the important segment that
influences the company for making an
ethical environment conducting the
organisational business profitably. These
laws are being provided by the government
of the country for implementing peace in
society. The government of the United
Kingdom has also implemented several
laws which can influence the companies
and organisations for creating an ethical
environment in working place for doing
their business. For example, Tesco
Company is following the laws of the
United Kingdom for conducting its business
legally in a profitable way. Two of those
laws are being discussed below -
The Tesco Company has been conducting
its business online and selling its groceries.
It is has helped the company for increasing
the sales of the company significantly.
Especially during the pandemic situation,
people have been instructed to remain in
the house to maintain social distance and
in this time, online based grocery selling
has become most popular. But here comes
the data protection act 2018 which the
company has been following (Häuselmann,
2021). According to this, the company will
be responsible for the right usage of
customer information. The company will
not be able to misuse the personal data of
the customers and also the company will
not be able to use that information for any
kind of reason without informing the
customers.
The Tesco Company has been following
the customer rights act of 2015 which is
ensuring the customer’s rights in terms of
purchasing their products. The company
has been implementing the low pricing
strategy for increasing their sales and also
in the pandemic situation when the
economy is down, selling the required

considered as the implementation of
customer rights. Also, the company has
implemented the self service method
where the customer will be able to reduce
the employee interaction at a maximum
level which is necessary for ensuring social
distance. In this way, it can be said that the
company has been implementing the public

Oragisations and companies have certain roles to play in society and that can be recognised
as the corporate social responsibilities of the company. This influences the company for doing
ethical activities such as – the Starbucks Company has been doing its corporate social
responsibility by making donations for the society. The employees of the orgnisation and
company are bound to serve the customers in a satisfying way so that the customer can feel
reliable and good for considering coming next time. Also according to the data protection act,
the organsiations and companies are required to protect the personal information of the
customers and avoiding letting them misuse or else the company might have to face some
severe damage.
The Starbucks Corporation has been its business for centuries as the chain of coffee shop
business worldwide. The company has been doing its business in more than 170 countries in
the world and according to the annual financial report of the company in 2019, the company’s
total revenue has been about 29.50 billion dollars in US (Kee et al., 2021). The company has
been following its corporate social responsibility for increasing brand value and therefore, the
company is also recognised as one of the most charitable companies in the world. It has been
recognised that the Starbucks Corporation customers and employees have served in the
community service in the last seven years for more than 3 million hours and also 520000
hours have been spent doing the volunteering service. The Starbucks Corporation is not
serving non-profit organisations but also empowering women and also minorities. According
to the statistics of employee background of Starbucks in the United States, it has been
estimated that more than 65 % of emloyees are women and about 40 % of employees of
Starbucks are minorities (Farooq et al., 2021). This is reflecting the fact that the company has
been doing its corporate social responsibility and for this, the brand value of the company has
raised significantly which has the company quite popular among the people and this is how
the company has been able to increase its sales and profitability.
The employees of any organisation or company have to maintain certain rules which reflects
the most supportive customer service quality. This will increase customer satisfaction and in
this way, customer loyalty will be possible to gain. Customer loyalty is about choosing a

without that person’s knowledge is a punishable offense. Because of this GDPR law, the
personal data of the people has been protected and misuse of it has been stopped (Goyal et

Personal skills are required for everyone to obtain for being employed. Employment is
