DESCRIPTION
From the teachings and the presentations of the past four weeks, I learnt that that the

embedded, the different set of norms, the voluntary actions that are taken, the standard of

governance structure, the core practices required for infiltrating the ideas of business ethics
along with the degree of legal compliance.
FEELINGS
Ethical culture accompanies the prevalence of the ethical risks. The ethical risks lead
to a management initiative that will relate to the various boundaries of conduct, the concept
of self-regulation and the different forms of societal expectations. The main requirements for
the degree of legal compliance to set the minimum standards to initiate the responsible
behavior that includes the society’s codification laws of the choice between the right and
wrong (Trevino and Nelson, 2016).The ethical decision making strategy encompasses a
particular model that includes the process by which the decisions can be taken in order to
implement with the greatest care according to the different requirements of the stakeholders.
EVALUATION
The ethical decision making framework provides with a comprehensive model that
will initiate the decision making process for the success of any business strategy. The
framework should be able to analyze properly the different ethical issues (Crane & Spence,
2019). I have also learnt the significance of the process of globalization in the framework of
ethical decision-making. I am able to understand the compact of the United Nations in the
promotion of global peace strategy to establish the most appropriate relation between the
different countries.
ANALYSIS
The presentations shown to teach us the details of business ethics started with the
clarification of the concept of ethics in the context of business management. The presentation
highlighted the fact that ethics refers to the different standards of the human behavior that
reflect the way in which human beings act in the different situations in which they will be

able to find themselves as parents, the children , the different citizens and the various
teachers and professionals. The meaning of leadership is the process by which the group feels
motivated by the pattern of leadership in order towards the achievement of a proper goal.
CONCLUSION
In a particular business set up, the basic purpose of leadership is to direct the workers
associated with an organization to work according to the different requirements of the
company. The meaning of leadership focusses on the different essentials for inspiring the
workers and making them prepared to meet the company’s needs (McCloskey, 2017).The
presentation has also guided the ethical awareness concept that the ability to perceive a
particular situation or a certain decision to take the decision of an ethical dimension.
TOPIC 2: DECISION MAKING IN BUSINESS ETHICS
DESCRIPTION
The intensity of the importance of a particular decision in the eyes of an individual or
a particular work group or the concerned organization. The personal and the temporal ways to
require the specific characteristics of a particular situation that avails for the personal
pressures that prevails at a particular place and at a particular time (Painter-
Morland,2019).The perceptions of the different individuals regarding the ongoing issues of
social pressure and the harm that is caused by the decisions taken by the others.
FEELINGS
I have learnt from the presentation that there are two approaches of measuring the
ethical standards. The utilitarian approach emphasized on some of the ethical action that will
be taken to provide the most good and provides the least harm and produces the greatest
degree of balance of right over wrong. The rights approach however starts from the basic
notion that humans will have a dignity based approach according to the human nature which

has the ability to choose in an independent manner what they will do with their personal
lives. I have learnt about the virtue approach that deals with the different form of ethics and
the resulting ethical actions that ought to be consistent in nature with certain ideas that
provide for the full level of development. The different qualities like honesty, courage,
compassion and the generosity moves that are leading the different examples of the ideal
virtues.
EVALUATION
I have also learnt to apply the concept of globalization in the framework of taking the
ethical decisions. The organizations like the International Monetary Fund, makes several
short term commitments for the loans to be made to the member countries with high share of
deficits. The member states should also provide the adequate resources in order to fund the
IMF through a proper mechanism of allotting the required quotas that acts as proportional
nature according to the size of their respective economies. I have also learnt that the different
laws and regulations that gets established by the set of the minimum available standards
which are responsible for that particular behavior.
ANALYSIS
A major understanding and analysis of the significance of the type of clarification
regarding the concepts are in the form of the management of the ethical risk standards are in
the form of the voluntary boundary mechanism that is initiated by the different contact
boundaries along with the policies , the different requirements of compliance , the self-
regulation initiatives of the industries and the different societal expectations regarding the
human behavior (Connelly et. al,2017).I have been able to correlate with the ethical
competence level and the associated voluntary responsibilities attached to an organization.

CONCLUSION
The concept of the voluntary responsibilities of an organization includes the
responsibility to improve the standards of life and to make the communities develop into
those places where the people will want to conduct their business practices in order to raise
their families and to enable them to enjoy with life.
TOPIC 3: DEGREE OF GOVERNMENT INVOLVEMENT AND
GLOBALIZATION ON BUSINESS ETHICS
DESCRIPTION
The voluntary responsibilities also claim that the degree of government involvement
must be reduced by providing the level of assistance to the different stakeholders. The
responsibilities also enable the development of the different skills associated with the
employee leadership patterns (Chell & Harris 2016). The creation of an ethical culture is also
important to make it act as a buffer in order to rectify the organizational misconduct.
FEELINGS
I have also came to know about the different misconducts that takes place in an
organizational context like the misuse of the time given for a company, the misconduct of the
time allotted for the company’s work is unethical. This includes the misconduct in the form
of conducting any personal business or covering up the unethical issues of the employees of
an organization. It covers the workplaces that are filled with the different leaders who
arbitrarily takes advantage of their position.
EVALUATION
I believe that this new realization pattern will be very instrumental throughout
my degree and even in my future professional prospects and even in my private life, as I can
endeavor the concepts to clarify my understandings on certain critical aspects of the planning

of different projects and to initiate a teamwork in certain places. As a student, I can use these
concepts in questioning certain methodologies and techniques that will in turn allow the
understanding and the analyzing of the different objectives of the stakeholders. I can work
with that particular motive that in order to foster the ethical leadership patterns that will rely
on the personal leadership styles, the different innovations in order to succeed in a particular
organization rather than restricting their view for ruling in the organization , to initiate the
compliance levels and to exert the different control measures (Werhane, 2019).
ANALYSIS
The concept of ethical leadership will aim to build the different organizations based
on the positive ethical environments. The ethical leadership also includes the exemplary
feature of the organization, to be a champion and to analyze the importance of the different
ethics involved and the different modes of communication at the end of the lecture I came to
know about the different principles that are laid down by the Global Compact initiative of the
United Nations. The first principle to conduct the business is to create a massive support
system in order to protect the internationally declared human right scenario. The principles
also state that the business should uphold the value of freedom in terms of association and the
effective recognition system with the elimination of forced and compulsory form of labor
practices.
CONCLUSION
It has also helped me to understand that the global ethical issues like that of the corruption
levels, the variations that are seen in the international regulation norms and the issues
associated with the violations of the human rights. At the end of this lecture I also came to
realize the different causes that relate to the bribery issues and the degree of antitrust
activities that are conducted in an organization, along with the security and the various

privacy issues. I came to realize the fundamental and the global significance of the human
rights, the importance of the healthcare activities and the compensations that are granted in
the form of the living wage scenario. The lecture has provided with the specific case studies
of Nutrella and Forever 21 and the report I will take up a few more similar case studies. I
have learnt the significance of positive leadership in the functioning of any organization by
leading with exemplary features. As the most ethical leader, it is very important for him to
remember that actions often have a stronger impact than the words. The people who are
always prone in judging a person based on their nature, rather than what they state overtime.
ACTION PLAN
I have learnt the significance of communication and the different modes of
communication that are required for the ethical leaders to conduct the functions of their
organizations in the most effective manner. There are many people who may feel highly
comfortable to speak in the public domain, irrespective of the fact of what his personal
situation is. The lecture has taught me that an ethical leader ‘s main purpose is to
communicate the job roles with the different members of the team to allocate a specific task
effectively and initiate an environment for open conversation where the issues can be dealt
with in a very flexible manner. The role of globalization has also led to the evolution of the
business ethics and has made the mechanism of addressing the employee issue in more
flexible and open manner.
