 Consequentialism

As per the ethical principle of Consequentialism, the entire decision is made on the
basis of the expected outcome. It can be stated that entire tasks are performed as per the
understanding of the outputs that will be received. More than one options are considered.
This insists the fact all the possible options are tested. This also helps in selecting the correct
output option. This also increases the accuracy of the outcome that will be received.
Utilitarianism and Hedonism are the factors that are present in the consequentialism. As per
Utilitarianism, it can be stated that each and every step is needed to be taken for the pro
cessing of the human welfare and hence staying concerned regarding the wellbeing of the
people. As per the factor of hedonism, maximisation of the human pleasure is considered
important. Ethical Egoism, Act Utilitarianism and Rule Utilitarianism are the main aspects
that are considered in the processing of the business management. As per the ethical egoism,
the main concern is that proposing the functional process not the way one wants but the way
it should be provided as per the requirement. Ethical egoist factor is concerned with the
functionality of the of the moral agent s that will affect the benefit to harm. The factors that
affects ethical egoism is psychological egoism. This theme is considered to be an implausible
theory that helps in understanding of human behavior. According to the Utilitarianism,
encouraging the organization to perform utility and hence this will be impacting the course of
action. This will help in gaining the maximum utility.

Usage of Consequentialism will find its usage in the developing a business. In case of
developing a business Consequentialism will be acting very important. The main reason of
implementing consequentialism during business set up includes the fact that proper analysis
of the expected outcome on performing deeds can be well performed. This ensures that
understanding of the choosing of the task that is to be performed will be well understood and
this will ease the process of decision making. With proper decision proper output can be
expected. Again with the help of the consequentialism theory the main aspect that will be
received includes the fact that proper data segregation will be performed and hence ethical
dilemma can be mitigated. This will ensure that the management of ethical dilemma will be
benefitting the longevity of the business as no ethical issue will be arising and hence good
will of the business organization will prevail.

MAN 202 topic that I found interesting
Understanding the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility has been of high
interest to me. Understanding the concepts of Philanthropic, ethical, legal and economic
responsibilities have been the major reason that I found this section to be highly interesting.
What made the topic enjoyable?
The reason that I found the topic interesting is because I was getting proper exposure
regarding the terminologies of Philanthropic, Ethical, Legal and Economic aspects. The entire
process of the Corporate Social Responsibility was taught via pyramidal format. This is the
major reason that the concept was very well integrated and I understood the concept in a
proper manner. I have learnt that economic responsibilities acts as the base. Being profitable
has been the major concern in this section. This insists that proper management of the

business processing will be performed. After this stage proper knowledge regarding legal
responsibilities are performed. This section deals with the obeying the laws that are
concerned with the codification and hence playing the game abiding by the rule. After this
section, ethical responsibilities section comes into play. Being ethical has been the major
concern in this section. Obligation regarding the just and fair options are taken into
consideration. This will ensure that no harm will be caused due to the processing of the harm
avoidance. At the end of the Corporate Social Responsibility, Philanthropic responsibilities
are taken into consideration. Being a good corporate citizen will be benefitting the corporate
citizens. Contributing to the resources and hence improving the quality of life have been
benefitting the quality of life.
Imagine a workplace situation where the learning can be implemented
Implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility in workplace have been very
efficient. The main advantage that will be gained after the implementation of Corporate
Social Responsibility will ensure incorporating of the different responsibilities that will be
benefitting the functioning process and hence profit will be gained. This ensures that proper
management of the business processing will be affected as usage of the economic
responsibilities, legal responsibilities, ethical responsibilities and philanthropic
responsibilities can be well implemented.

personal skills and ability of oneself. This will ensure that the understanding of one’s
personal limit can be well understood. This will ensure that the tasks that will be taken up by
me will be well performed by me. Setting up boundaries will also ensure that I will be well
aware of the limitations that I have. This will ensure that I will be working on my limitation
and mitigating my limitations. Scope of training will be getting precise. This preciseness will
be increasing the efficiency of the training process.
 Implementing transparent procedures in place for guiding operations
Implementing transparent procedure in the business process will be benefitting the
functioning process in the work place. This process will enhance the communication process.
Hence communication process among the stakeholders of the business organization will be
getting better. Communication among the stakeholders of the business organizations have
been a major factor that increases the business management process. Hence benefitting the
work culture has been the major aspect that will be benefitting the processing in the work
place. Hence a proper relation in between the employees can be established. This is will be
adding personal value in the communication process.
Usage of code of ethics as measures will also be benefitting the process of personal value
With the help of the present code of ethics the main advantage that is received
includes proper setting of ethical boundaries that are not to be crossed. This will be universal
and hence the work place culture will be benefitted. This will enhance the functioning
process of the business organization. A better balance can be experienced and hence the
management of the employees will be getting better. This is the main reason that functioning
of the business management will be getting better and the transparency in the prices of the
business management can be made in a better manner.
