INTRODUCTION
Event planning includes budgeting, establishing timelines, selecting and reserving the event sites,
acquiring permits, planning food, coordinating transportation, developing a theme. This report
highlights the Source of market and consumer research and Policy and procedure of the event.

Source of market and consumer research
There are mainly two source of the market, through which different plan of the event can be
promoted That is internal and external source.
Internal Source
After sales experience: It is the best way through which organization can source the
different information regarding the customer in the market. As It used to help the company in
understanding the behavior of the different customer toward the product.
External source
Market Research: This can be done by the organization by going through the different
survey which has been conducted by the different primary data collection source and on the basis
of the same organization can collect the different information regarding the market and the
consumer.
Survey: It is another way in which organization has to make sure that they used to select
the customer base and used to ask the variety of the question from them with the help of the
survey it will help them in getting good amount of the information regarding the market and the
consumer.
Principle of event planning
Considering the date: This is the first principle in which organization has to make sure
that they used to plan the event on a date that more number of the customer can come-into it and
also business is ready to organize the same very effectively in the market.
Selecting Venue: It is another factor which has to be consider by the event planner. As
they have to make sure that they selects the best venue available in the market. Venue should be

Policy and procedure of the event
Event request to get informed about the participation 24 hour beforehand.
After confirmation from the participation, participator will be confirmed about the place
and location of the event.
Participation can not participate in the event, unless they do not get the confirmation of
the participation from client end.
All the organizer are require to check the set up beforehand before starting the event for
the organizer.
Organizer is require to check the schedule of different activity before hand itself to
schedule the different activity accordingly in the organization.
For the current event some of the policy and the procedure are as follows:
All the party who need to participate in the event should drop a mail to the organizer.
Participant will only allow to take part in the event if they will receive the confirmation
mail.
Event organizer are asked to perform the different activity on time by looking at the
different schedulation of the activity in the organization.
Organizer has to make sure that they used to plan the different activity beforehand and
testing of all the activity should be done before performing the same on the event.
Catering provider are specially guided to use high quality of the raw material in their
offering. As they are the key hygiene maintainer.
