The different roles and responsibilities of the members within the project team are
defined as:

1. Business Partners – The business partners would be responsible for developing the
ideas for the project based on the implementation of the new network for the company. The
business partners should be able to conduct meetings with the various core members of the
company and should decide over the best measures that would be need to put in place for proper
management of the new project. They should also be able to motivate the employees in dealing
with the new business systems.
2. Administration Staff – The administrative staff within the organisation would
perform different duties within the industry. They would be responsible for managing and
distributing of several information within the office. These staff would plan different events such
as board meetings, schedule appointments with other team members and thus plan for the
preparation of other forms of presentation materials.
3. Finance manager – The finance manager within the company would perform different
forms of data analysis over the reports of the company. They would also be able to advise
various senior managers on maximizing the profitability factors of the business. The other roles
of the finance manager is to change the ways in which technological advances in the business
sector would be able to reduce the amount of time taken for designing the financial reports.
These managers would also be responsible for monitoring the financial reports and thus ensure
that the business is adhering to the legal requirements of the business.
4. Sales staff – The sales department within the organisation would play a major role
based on bringing innovative ideas for the growth of sales. This would help in bridging the
potential gaps between the potential needs of customers and the various services or products that
are offered by the company. The sales staff would be responsible for acting as a medium

between the customer and the company. They would also be responsible for building the factor
of loyalty between the business and the customers.
5. Project Manager – The project manager involved within the company would be
responsible for success form of planning, designing and execution of project. Based on the focus
on the company, they would be responsible for purchasing the new requirements. The project in
this case is based on implementing a new computer network within the company. Each of the
computer equipment would be replaced with a new set of equipment that would be installed
within the office. Thus the project manager would be responsible for handling each of the aspects
of the project such as planning of the network layout and preparing a financial plan for the
project.
Based on the scenario of the project, the approval for the project plan would be sought
with a proper help from the finance manager and the business partners of the company. The
project manager would define a proper plan in relation with the project. They would thus show
the plan to the business partners and finance manager of the company in order to gain a proper
approval from them. This plan would list out the entire layout of the project and the schedules for
each tasks associated with the project.
2. Task 2
In order to ensure that each of the stakeholders involved within the project team would be
responsible for performing their tasks in a successful manner, every stakeholder should
understand their own responsibilities. The project manager should detail a project plan that
would be presented to the business partners. This plan would be approved and thus the involved
stakeholders within the project would be made to adhere to such rules.

The two concerns for the project team in the design phase of the project are:
1. Managing the critical state of project schedule – Each of the critical aspects in
relation to the project should be managed between the project team members.
2. Designing the project plan for quality achievement – The project manager should
prepare the networking layout for the project based on consulting with the core networking
consultancy business. They would be able to guide the project and thus be able to implement the
best networking equipment within the company.
3. Task 3
The different financial documents in relation to the project based on implementing a new
computer network are:
1. Project Budget
2. Cost-Benefit Analysis
3. Operation and maintenance agreements
4. Supply agreement
The ways in which the human resource division would be able to reassign the human
resources meant for the project are:
1. The HR division should evaluate the different opinions based on re-investing or
replacing the current network systems. They should ensure that the new system would be
accepted by the entire company and they would be benefited with the implementation.

2. The end users should be persuaded based on supporting the change that would be
implemented with the project. There should be some form of readiness based on accepting the
change while ensuring the critical factors of success or failure from the project.

be able to support the project based on designing of the new computer network layout plan.
The acceptance from the stakeholder or client could be obtained in the form of surveys or
questionnaire. They would be asked to provide feedback based on their use of the new system. in
this way, the project manager would be able to understand about whether the project had met
with the success rate.

Based on the project review process, the project team members who would be involved
are:
1. Business partners – They would ensure that the project is implemented within the
company without any kind of effect over the procedures of the company. They would be

Based on the course of the project, some of the key lessons learned that could be
applicable for the next project are:
1. Developing a project plan – With the help of this lesson, I would be able to design
each of the project activities, schedule them and assigning of budget.
2. Developing the budget plan – The budget plan would help in understanding the
different aspects of budget planning that would be required for planning for the project.
3. Identifying the risks and defining mitigation strategies – The project plan has
helped me in the ways of identifying each sector of risks and thus mitigating them.
4. Identification of gaps – The different gaps had been identified based on a proper
analysis of the phase. This would help me in preparing against the gaps and thus fulfilling them.
