This presentation is about internal and external factors which affects the business in various ways. Marks
and Spencer is a British multinational retailing company. The company has number of categories like
clothing, footwear, accessories of men, women and children. This presentation covers SWOT for internal
factors and PESTLE for external factors.

To understand better about the company, let discuss its PESTLE analysis. PESTLE analysis the
external environment of a business which includes political, economical, social, technological, legal and
environment factors.
◦ Political factors: political factors are those factors which affect the company's operations. These
includes tax rates, legislation acts, country's stability. This creates opportunities and threat for the
organization.
