Academic integrity includes the putting of various types of values into practice with
being a honest and reliable person in the academic work which is basically done in the
universities. The academic integrity basically includes the various fundamentals to the
research, learning and teaching at the university. In this report it includes the importance and
role of academic integrity in the higher level of educations with the various implications of
the academic findings and misconduct of the appropriate techniques. In this report it involves
the designing of game for the purpose to avoid any type of misconduct and avoid plagiarism
with instructions related to playing a game with the importance of academic integrity and use
of various skills for the objective to create a game.
A discussion of the importance of academic integrity in higher
education
The process of academic integrity plays a very major role in the higher education and
universities and also includes the tasks and assessments with more honesty and hard work.
Academic integrity plays a very important role in avoiding the bad consequences which also
includes the situations that includes failing in an assignment or the situation of leaving the
college or institute. The methods through which the students and staffs study and work at the
university might affect the viewpoint of other regarding the university. For the purpose to
enhance the confidence among students it is very important that the organization develops
various standards for the assessments and courses with the trustworthy standards and also
being consistent. When it comes to universities it is important to identify the correct source
for the purpose preparing the academic assessments that will help in identifying the sources

correctly when it comes to academic assessments which helps in giving proper credit to the
people who are using the information or idea for the purpose to show them correct path in
order to gain better knowledge (Agarwal, 2019).
Discuss the implications of academic misconduct
There are various implications that always happens in the academic penalty options
and also includes reduction for the grades in the assignment, reduction in grades which
further also includes failure of the course. In context to universities, students who are founded
guilty or doing malpractices while doing their assignments might need to do the assignment
again which might also lead to terminating the student’s participation in the research project.
Moreover, it includes the loss in future assignments and might have to pay the fines( Lauer,
2018).
In context to university, maintain the academic integrity help in earning the degree in
a better method and also represent the true academic activities. Students who have the skills
to integrity, will work more hard as evaluate to others students in order to earn a degree in a
honest and fair way through putting hard work in studies and achievement of assignments.
When a student intentionally cheats in his or her homework, the integrity of academics is
compromise and the morals and value of degree of an individual is compromise. The lack of
credibility can result in following the workforce and can result in impacting the professional
goals( Abbott and Nininger, 2021). The academic integrity embodies the core values that
involves the respect, trust, honesty, fairness and liability. The integrity of academic is
basically the cornerstone of high ethics, truth and academic quality in order to promote the
credible intellectual inquiry and knowledge sharing. Though plagiarism is considered to be a
common form of the dishonesty when it comes to dishonesty. In order to avoid plagiarism, it
is significant to properly acknowledge the source of the quoted material. Moreover, the use of
looking for the advice or using the internet, results in violating the principle of the academic
integrity (Domingues, 2021).
All these events can turn into serious situation and cost as it results in ruining the
reputation of the university and also results in loss of opportunities for the students in the near
future. It also creates a difficulty for teachers as cheating can result in underproduction of
knowledge as the student believes that corrupt is a escape detection, it can result in discourse
the morale of students in the universities. Though the academic integrity allows the staff and

students to build knowledge, ideas and creative works through acknowledging and respecting
the work of others. In order to deal with the academic misconduct, the university uses
consistent, fair, timely and transparent manner. An individual who has the capabilities of
being trustworthy and honest. In context to further education college and the students, values
and personal values basically helps in reflecting the trustworthiness and character
(Glendinning, 2020).

Spinning Wheel Plagiarism is generally an age designed game which can assess various
information of misconduct and plagiarism of academics. Spinning Wheel game generally
include various colored cards along with a spinning wheel. In order to develop Spinning
Wheel Plagiarism game, there are various challenges which came across are as detailed
below:
Team work: In this, it generally include people can specifically working as a
collection or team so that they can positively attain a specific goal. While talking about
designing a game, it is quite essential for people to work collaboratively to improve or
develop an effective game (Aurangzeb and Akhtar, 2019).
Communication: In this, communication is generally an important aspect among
every work. While developing a game, it is quite essential to have an effective
communication among workers or people so that they can positively attain their goal. If
having an effective communication while developing game, it can make people to work
collaboratively which can lead them to design a game more positively.
Data collection: In this, it generally include gathering of information from various
available sources that can be used to accomplish goals of an organization. While designing a
game, it is quite necessary to gather effective information so that it can help workers or

people to effectively design a game and making game more interesting as well as fun to
watch and play as well( Reyneke, Shuttleworth and Visagie, 2021).

Skills generally play an essential role developing as well as designing a particular
game. While developing a game, there are several skills which I have learned such as
innovation, creativity, research, information technology and many more. In this, information
technology skills usually play an essential role as it involves the alterations in animations and
graphics, which can play an essential part in the games as well as uses interface designs also.
Such skills can effectively help to design a game more better as well as can aid in a process
of installation of such game. Some of the skills are as mentioned below:
Creativity skills: In this, to develop or design, I positively learned about various new
ideas as well as skills so that I can effectively get some new ideas for game in order to make
my game more efficient. As having a creative skills can play an essential role and it can also
aid me cope various challenges that can create an issue while developing a particular game
(Devi, 2020).
Critical thinking skills: In this, I have positively learned through game that which
particularly need critical thinking as well as proper mindset. To develop as well as run a
particular game more successfully, it is essential to apply some logical solutions as well as
thinking more critically in a manner to run a particular game more successfully.
Problem solving skills: In this, such skills can aid me while handling more critical
situations that are mainly faced by me while developing a game (Sulistiani and Karnalim,
2019).

The theft of ideas and designs could be eradicated with the implementation of
numerous strategies. To prevent the threat of plagiarism, it is critical to analyse the principles
and implications of various skills and theories that are required for the purpose of clarity in
expression of thoughts and opinions. The development and creation of potential game design
would bring enhancement in imaginative and innovative skills. It will help in gaining better
understanding of technologies that are being used in the game development. The process of
game designing acknowledge the creativity level and determine imagination of an

individual(ZHANG and et.al., 2019). It analyse the skill of direction and the execution of
series that are invented in the game design. Game designing helps in evaluating ability to
brilliantly execute the plots that are created through imagination and unique ideas.
The purpose behind game designing is to attain expertise in understand technological
advancements and to enhance knowledge for learning criteria. To effectively create a game
that is capable of generating value, it is important to understand various concepts regarding
design and scenario, challenges, market analysis and unique element which makes the game
interesting. Apart from programming, there are numerous aspects which needs focus and
attention of the designer including the series in which the game is directed. The process of
game designing is quite challenging as it is hard to construct structure of games that seems
attractive and interesting to the audience. Academic integrity relates to the identification of
values and morals for the purpose of ensuring fair and honest practices in the
organisation(Barkman-Astles, 2019). The act of not complying with academic integrity and
breaching known as academic misconduct which should be highly avoided. Academic
intergrity is majorly significant for the acquistion of intellectual ideas and development of
teaching skills. It helps in personality development through learning new theories and
understanding the applicability of different models of creative working. Ensuring academic
integrity is crucial for universities to maintain their reputation and the level of appreciation
that is desirable by the society. It helps in understanding the role and responsibilities which is
fundamental for the betterment of students as well as the whole community. High academic
integrity helps students in establishing their good image and helps in timely accomplishment
of assignments(Parnther and Eaton,2021).
Conclusion
As per the view of respective report, it has been concluded that academic integrity
promotes proper code of conduct and ethical behavior in an organisation. It establish values
and encourage healthy practices in the premises of an institute or corporation. The job of
game development helps in enhancing productive skills, directive skills, technological
learning and thoughtful skills. It helps in developing experimental nature by testing various
scenarios of game and testing their viability. The academic integrity combines the core values
that promotes honest practices and establish awareness regarding misconduct. Academic
integrity prevent misleading activities which avoid the values like trust, respect, honesty and
other moral values. It has been concluded that the game design should be developed avoiding
the practice of plagiarism in order to ensure academic integrity.
