manage data
Information system is a study of different network and components that work together in
order to collect, process, store and distribute information in order to support decision making as
well as visualization within an organization. Wide media assists to promote other business and it
also integrate within five information system components in order to deal with collecting and
organizing data and information. Such that, Computer hardware which is a physical technology
complied with information (Aryawibawa and Syaroni, 2020). With the rise of Internet of things,
everything needs hardware in order to operate the information so that proper things can be
discussed. Next component is Software which is divided into two parts i.e. system software and
application software. In the context of Wide Media, application software is designed because it is
made for specific task i.e. to promote other companies within market. Thus, with the help of such
component, company sent different emails to other companies in order to let them know about
Wide Media’s offering.
Third component is telecommunication that connect hardware in order to form network.
This can be done through Ethernet cables, wireless. Similarly, for chosen application this is
considered one of the most important element because it is designed to tie together computer in
specific area i.e. Wide area network (WAN). Also, in this case internet is also considered as
network that provide complete information with regard to application offering to other systems.
Forth is database and data warehouse in which material of other components work with resides
(Boranbayev and et.al., 2019). In this, information is collected and can be retrieved by querying
using more than one criteria. On the other side, data warehouse contains all data at any forms (as
per the need of an organization). In the same way, for the present online application, for database
context it uses Online Transactional Processing whereas for Data warehouse, company uses
Online Analytical Processing or Microsoft.
Last is Human resource and procedures in which a process is defined which needs to be
undertaken in order to attain the desired outcome. As information systems are becoming more
integrated with organizational process and also brings more productivity to control those. For
that, people are required who simply monitor the used technology and identify the used
components assists system to deliver the right information or not. To introduce new application,

a focus on people needs to be involved which includes front line help worker, system analyst,
programmers etc. who help to promote other business by using effective marketing tools (Paul
and Ng, 2019). This in turn also assists to manage information and generate the valid output for
other companies as well.
Therefore, it is clearly reflected that by using all the five components of information
systems, an application is easily distributing and create data that helps to provide value to an
organization. Also, with proper collaboration with all these components, the designed application
run effectively so that it will help other firms to promote their own products and services.
