Introduction

been increased in recent times. They want to manage the sales information by establishing a

keeping the records.
Discussion
Business Information Systems is a type of system where the processes of any
Business Organization is improved and managed by applying the information Technology
infrastructures (Rainer et al. 2013). Business process of an organization totally depends on
the main aim of the Company. Managing information of any business process is not an easy
task and it cannot be maintained by a single management system. All type of business
systems are required to be developed after knowing their needs which also can be stated as
requirements of the system. The system requirements can be analysed on the basis of its
functional goal and in terms of its major groups in the organization (Lindström 2013).
As the ABC Company deals with the product and sales, an inventory management
system can be introduced. For managing an inventory system the data of products and its
location is major information. However, the company does not produce the products, hence,
it will not be an easy and relevant task to treat the system as Inventory Management System.
On another hand, it also keeps the employees details and it can be related to the employee
management system (Chang 2016). For employee management system, the employee details,
contact address and their salary is required. However, the type of BIS (Business Information
System is used to developed for ABC company is Sales and Marketing Information System.
