The family of John Thompson have been the dairy farmers for the last three
generations. The farm of john carries mainly one herd of the Holstein Dairy cattle as well as
with a few numbers of jersey cows. Jackle is the wife of john. John and jackle decided to take
help for improving their farm form one of their daughter, Susan who has completed recently
bachelor of agriculture from the university of Melbourne. Susan has decided that she will
focus for the improvement of data analysis and collection. For that she has taken some
strategies. For implementing the startegies first thing that is needed is ICT systems. The

Software: The operating system that is needed for the ICT system is Windows 10. All the
data should updated on daily basis. So ms excel will be suitable for that. A gst billing sowae
will also be needed
Data/communication environment: Wi-Fi, LAN, FTP server. These connections will help in
accessing network connection.
Although a laptop will also be need for susan’s personal use, that will be check the progress
from anytwhere anytime.

Price:
The price of the laptop should be arrround 519 dollars. The price of windows 10 is
around 200 dollars. However for the MS office 49 dollars and the cost for the ict system are;
for the ict system 1 329 dollars will be needed. The gst biling software will cost about 200
dollars. And also some additional functions such as the wifi, the network problem will be
solved. The farm occupies mostly river flat adjoining the Macalister River with some slightly
hilly land on the eastern boundary. For that she has taken some strategies. For implementing
the startegies first thing that is needed is ICT systems.
