The goal of this research was to find trends in the use and efficacy of business intelligence
and analytics (BI&A) across firms with varying levels of BI&A development. The data sample
for the first component of the research came from 145 organizations in India. It was evaluated
using k-means clustering, a data gathering approach. Depending on the types that influence
BI&A capacity maturity, the organizations were divided into six clusters. In the authors of the
study second stage, one case organisation from each cluster is chosen to get further insights. In-
depth interviews with a respondent from each case organisation were undertaken to gain a better
understanding of the state of BI&A, as well as its use and efficacy. In NVIVO 12 plus, the
questionnaires were recorded using the theme analytical method. NVivo allows you to obtain a
