Introduction
Business intelligence can be defines as the use of different infrastructures and
application to analyze large sets of data collected from different locations to help in
the decision making procedure of an organization (Shollo & Galliers, 2016). The
following report follows a discussion based on the analyses of a data set made up for
the environmental issues collected from around the world (Basole, 2014) (Kulkarni,
Robles-Flores & Popovič, 2017). The report contains the description about the da set
that has been used, the descriptive analysis of the data set and the prediction of the
data set for the future. Accordingly, the dashboards have justified for the
implementation and following this a brief recommendation for the CEO of the
organization to make their profit and objectives better and innovative (Arnott, Lizama
& Song, 2017).
Description of the data set used for the analysis
The data set that has been used for the implementation of this report has
been compiled based on different factors and variables. The data set, which was
collected, was large and was thus trimmed down to a limited number of rows with the
following factors in use.

The above table provides the brief over view of the factors and the variables
that are present in the data set. The countries have been carefully selected form the
world to make a count of 10. The three major pollutants of the pollution has been
chosen which have the moist effect on the air pollution contribution. The variables
are the location from which the most amount of the gases are released in to the air.
The data has been collected for a period of 5 years from 2010 to 2014. Due to the
nature of the data set that was chosen the predictive search based on the use of
SAP Predictive Analysis could not be compiled. The prediction on the data seta has
been compiled for a period of three future years using the triple exponential
smoothing technique (Laursen, & Thorlund, 2016).
Descriptive analysis
This section contains the descriptive analysis produced for the data set that
has been selected for the completion of this report. The following series of charts
provides a brief insight about the data set used:

The above chart shows the visualization of the data of the values for all the
locations of the world, which has been selected, and the variables, which are the
places of the origin of the air pollutants. The lowest amount of pollution creation is
from the field of agriculture. The maximum amount of air pollutants is created from
the road traffic from all over the world. This can be due to the high increase in the
population of the world the people are starting to use more personal vehicles for their
own usage. This makes the number of vehicles to be increased and thus the amount
of pollution from the road traffics. Moreover, the use of the fossil fuels in the vehicles
push the values of this factor to move higher up.

From the overall view of the chart it can be seen that the amount of carbon
monoxide the highest amount of pollutant which is there in the air. Carbon monoxide
is the highest amount of gas, which is emitted into the air. The lowest amount of air
pollutant in the air is the sulphur oxides. The most poisonous of the three gases is
the carbon monoxide because the gas is able to poison the blood of any human
being easily.

The above chart shows the plotting of the different pollutants against their
respective values with the division of the bars have been divided according to the
years of the data set. From the visual analysis, it can be seen that the amount of
carbon monoxide decreases with the gradual increase of the years. There is a steep
decrease in the values up to 2014. For the nitrogen oxide, it can be said that the

values does not follow a high steep fall in the value but a smaller leaner decrease. In
the case of sulphur oxides there can be seen a gradual decrease in the value but in
2013 and 2014 the values become stabilized into a single value. The highest amount
of the air pollutant was in 2010 for the pollutant of carbon monoxide.

From the above diagram it can be said that the least amount of air pollutants
in the air which has been contributed from the different sectors of the industry. The
least amount of air pollution is from the agriculture field. For the field of combustion it
can be seen that the values decrease in the year 2011 but again increases in the
subsequent year of 2012. After this year, there is a gradual decrease in the value,
which is good for the environment. There is a similar flow in the decrease of the
industrial combustion generation of the air pollutants. However, an increase in the
value can be seen in the year 2012 but then the following years see a gradual
decrease in the values. For the rest of the two categories there is a gradual decrease
in the values over the years until they become stabilized in the year 2014.

The above geographic Choropleth chart shows the values of the carbon
monoxide produced in the countries around the world. From the chart it can be seen
that the country of United States of America. The amount of the pollutant generation
is then followed by the Russians and compared to the rest of the world they produce
a very small amount of carbon monoxide in the air. It can also be said that the least
amount of carbon monoxide in the air has been least contributed by country of
Australia and Canada.

This geographic Choropleth chart provides the insight on the production of the
nitrogen oxides in the atmosphere. The same format of the production system s also
followed in this case such as the carbon monoxide. The Russians follow the united
stated of America in the production of the nitrogen oxides in the air. Though a
striking resemblance can be seen that the country of Australia produces more
amount of nitrogen oxides that the production of carbon monoxide in the
atmosphere. Canada is the lowest producer of the nitrogen oxide in the world.

amount of sulphur dioxide gas production is from the country of United States of
America. The country of Russia follows the United States of America in the
production of the sulphur oxides in the world. The least producer of sulphur oxides in
the world are Canada and Australia. This goes on to show that the continent of
Australia is the least producer of the air pollutants when compared to the other
countries of the world.

The above geographic Choropleth chart it can be seen that the values of the
air pollutants that is being produced by the agricultural department of the world. The
maximum amount of pollutant production is from the continent of Australia. However,
there are many of the countries missing the values of the countries the Australia is
followed closely by the Canada. This shows that the country with the most amount of
agricultural field is the largest producer of the air pollutants in the field of agriculture.

This geographic Choropleth chart shows the values of the air pollutant
production from the effect of combustion of fuels and other materials in the world.
The largest producer of the air pollutants in the world is the country of United States
of America. The Americans are followed by the country of Canada. The least
producers of the air pollutants in the atmosphere by the combustion of fossil fuels
and other materials is by the continent of Australia.
