Identification of business and IT goals in this given scenario
The main goals of the IT organization is to increase the efficiency of the current business
process and get the best output from its employees. With the implementation of the coffee
vending machine the organization can increase the efficacy without adding extra cost in the
business operation (Hoffman 2014). The minor errors generated from the machine is required to
be fixed for reduction the technical flaws in the system. The functionality of the coffee vending
machine is required to be improved for managing the coins and dollars inserted into the system.
The workplace environment can be improved with the implementation of the coffee
vending machine and it would help the employees to be happy and alert in the workplace. This
would also help to get the best output from the employees (Dessai 2015). The time and the cost
of the employees can be saved with the implementation of the in house vending machine and
thus they can get back to work quickly.
For the implementation of the coffee vending machine in the current business process of
the organization the current framework of the business is required to be revised. The internal
server and the database is required to be modified for record the amount collected and coffee
dispensed for increasing the efficiency of the system.
