INTRODUCTION
Information technology systems deals with software, hardware, computers, devices,
telecommunication or anything that makes operation in business easy. They store, transmit,
receive information or data in an organization, enterprise or personal respect (Bansal, 2015). This
assignment will include many uses of information technology systems in different organization's
different functions, to achieve different objectives of an organization IT system contributes in
many ways, there are many ways through which IT systems can process and store data for
customer relationship management, knowledge management, communication management and
data management. In order to bring improvement in organizations business operations,
performance and sustainability, IT systems can be used and at last to solve many problems that
occur in an organization many IT systems solutions have been recommended. All these tasks will
be explained with three different sectors like education sector, banking sector and hospitality
sector.

1.1 IT System Uses With Different Functions
Organizations have different functions and to make the complete work more efficient,
thus implementation of IT systems have become indispensable for the profitability and
productivity (Cohen and Olsen, 2015). Moreover, such inclusion of information systems have
seen an upsurge in the developmental works.
Education industry- IT systems have been used prominently by incorporating various strategic
decisions such as in making classes interesting through audio visual demos, PowerPoint
presentations etc. Moreover, cloud computing platforms can assist in generating marks through
online mode on websites or through emails. Along with this, use of graphics, animation and
artificial intelligence tools like bots, personal assistants etc. has accelerated the working practices
of all the educational institutions like colleges, universities etc. in the most profound manner
(Romānova and Kudinska, 2016). This has also included revolutionary modification by bringing
the curriculum online through known universities like MIT, Harvard and more.

Hospitality sector- All the hotel's operations can keep the entire management in proper order
through upkeeing the marketing management, sales, customer services and more. Micros Opera
PMS is one of the robust systems which have provided many new and innovative concepts in any

hotel, devoid of its size. With respect to foods and beverages, housekeeping, lodging,
banqueting, restaurant services, accommodations, front desk and others, there is a great need of a
solution in terms of information systems to make the reservations, bookings and using other
services of any hotel in appropriate manner (Antony, 2014). This IT systematic framework has
driven the sales and boosted the employees' engagement in considerable amount that have led to
create potential loop of customers' and clients.
Banking services- There are primary and secondary functions that must be undertaken with the
banking services such as accepting deposits and advances with agency and utility functions.
Henceforth, the Core Banking Solutions (CBS) has paved the path to customers to avail the
services from any corner of the world. This has removed all the manual based activities in the
current system of conducting the operations in relation to the functions mentioned above
(Murray and et.al., 2017). Thus, all the assigned responsibilities/profiles have become
computerized with online banking that has built a reliable bridge with accuracy and precision.
1.2 Contribution Of IT System In Achieving Objectives
There is a considerable amount of active participation of these IT tools, techniques and
methodologies for proper assessment and evaluation of all the sectors. It helps in gaining the
competitive advantages in the global competitive markets by bringing excellence in the
operational activities of the organizations (Gatt and Schranz, 2015). Furthermore, it lays
emphasis on improving the decision making with giving insights ion the customers' satisfactions
through using new services or products. Additionally, it shed light on the collaboration that
allowed the initiatives for enhancing the data security and operations by identifying and
preventing the frauds, scams or malware etc. Hence, IT has brought many benefits in the entire
business world in exponential growth (Hayward, 2016).

details (Campanella, Della Peruta and Del Giudice, 2017). In this regard, ERP (Enterprise
resource planning) has been implemented which is a management software that uses system of
applications to automate the operations of back office with respect to other departments like HR,
services and technology. It helps in error free transactions in the production part.
Customer Relationship management- It is defined as the strategic interactive framework between
the organization and their customers', both existing and potential ones. Here, CRM software is a
collection of applications that is designed to cover the processes of business and its usage is in
demand these days (Walker, Voce and Jenkins, 2016). This software stores and retrieves the data
and entire information about inventory, production tasks, schedules, client's list and customers'.
Along with this, its ulterior aim is to transform the leads into proper contacts. For e.g. Zendesk's
customer service management software benefited the companies by improving the
communication.
Data Management- It is referred as the integrated framework of guidelines, activities and rules
for business engagement to manipulate the data in building a model for the management of
company's data in unified order. Generally, these days electronic data processing has been used
by the corporations to make the storing and processing easier and convenient for future use
(Verger, Lubienski and Steiner-Khamsi, 2016). For e.g. SQL Server, DBMS, Microsoft Access,
File Maker and more. Along with, the collection of data and its management needs proper
handling for understanding the road map through a sequence of storing, analysing, executing and
utilising. Here, ETL tools is used to transfer the data from multiple sources to solve the
complicated and automated transformations of the data by testing and targeting the data
warehouse.
Communication management- It is an interconnected system of transmitter and receiver through
a channel of interoperability functions. There are types of communication systems such as
duplex communication system, automatic call distributor, emergency communication system etc.
When there are more than one branches of an enterprise, then it infers a need of an internal
communications' system for better approachability among the employees' (Pucciarelli and
Kaplan, 2016). This would help in overcoming any conflicts or problems between the upper
management and the staff or personnel. For e.g. Customer communications management
software, also known as CCM software in which delivery and retrieval for interactive
resource planning) has been implemented which is a management software that uses system of

Moreover, all these management systems for storing IT systems has laid the foundation
of proper framework in different sectors. In regard to the customer support, it is a necessary tool
in bringing reliability and trust through SaaS teams of any banking or hospitality organization or
educational institution. Furthermore, the banking or hospitality services is dealing mainly into
the service sector and hence need a proper communications systems with intact data management
to form a loyal customer base. Therefore, these IT systems can store and process data in the most
effective manner and has been proved beneficial for doing operations properly in all the sectors
such as banking, hotel industry and education field.

IT systems have entered our lives with booming implications in almost all the sectors and
industries. It supported in making the tasks easier and convenient for human use with aiding in
the overall development and progression of work.
Education industry- With advent of IT and information systems, it has led to revolutionary
changes in the field of education and teaching. People from other regions have achieved the
accessibility by sitting and yet exploring new curriculum and discoveries of the world. It has
given birth to online tutoring along with distance learning. Additionally, this emergence of
online tutoring has fostered the education and learning techniques in leaps and bounds. It has
made it affordable and accessible for students who did not come from affluent families and has
no medium to attend schools or colleges (Egan, Hortaçsu and Matvos, 2017). However, there is a
need of this IT systems due to utility in enhancing the knowledge and skills of individuals. For
e.g. YouTube has many channels which provides free learning tools and courses to students and
people from all over the world. Furthermore, the distance education is another feature which has
made education accessible to people who might have to either discontinue their studies or unable
to join any formal institution. Such platform gives a certificate or degree to grow in the
respective sector. For instance, MBA Executive is that course which is available these days
of new product etc. to customers'.
