INTRODUCTION
The business environment is dynamic and keeps on changing. In present time the world is
facing the issue of Covid-19. There is direct impact of Covid-19 on the Hospitality, tourism,and
leisure. It is important to analyse the impact of external event on the industry so that suitable
actions can be taken. There is great role of formative feedback as it helps to enhance the
summative work of students (Yuan and Mak, 2018). There are some expectations of the students
at the time of studying business and management degree and that is also analysed in thus report.
There is huge importance of peer to peer review. Along with that there is discussion related to
support of peers in enhancing the experience of the students and it is also discussed in the report.
MAIN BODY
1. Reflect and explain Covid 19 impact on Hospitality, tourism,and leisure
Covid-19 has direct impact on Hospitality, tourism,and leisure. It is seen that these
industries provide good amount to GDP of nation. There is situation of lock down in the world
and stooped the business operations of the hotels. The customers are not ready to step out and
there is loss faced by hospitality industry. The business organisations are unable to work. It is
also analysed the employees were demotivated and not able to work effectively. Some of the
employees left job (Foo and et.al., 2020). The employees faced issue of loss of job. The
demotivated employees were unable to manage the work. There were financial issues that are
being faced by the industry. There was increase in fixed as well as variable cost seen in the
organisation. The hotels were spending money on advertisement so that the customers do not
forget about the company. It is seen that there was regular sanitisation and cleaning facility that
are being provided for the safety of employees. There is issue of zero sales that impacts the
working of the business. There was no sales and the organisation has to spend money on these
expenses to keep the employees safe. Some of the hotels were giving salary to the employees and
this is also expenditure for the business. The business organisation have to take proper care of
the health an wellness (Anguera-Torrell, Aznar-Alarcón and Vives-Perez, 2020). It is important
to take care theta they provide quality products and services to the customers. Along with that
there is need of latest technology is that when the situation gets normal so that they are able to
work effectively.

2. Describe the use of formative feedback to improve summative work.
Formative feedback is an ongoing process under which the teacher focuses on the
student. It is seen that teacher checks the progress of the students on regular basis and give them
feedback. Formative feedback can be defined as focus on performance of the students on regular
basis and in classes. All the areas of the students are being reviewed and they are told about the
areas of improvement (Gould and Taylor, 2017). There is need to tell the students about their
weak areas so that they can be enhanced. The summative assessments are held at the last of year
and by enhancing the performance of regular basis one is able to perform effectively in the end.
There is need to understand that the students must take the formative feedback effectively and
positively. They must analyse that these points will help them to perform good in future. In
formative feedback the teacher tells them about the need of improvement in that areas. If the
teacher tells that, the student must focus on writing skills that they need to work on them. The
student must develop action plan and then follow the strategies that will help them to enhance the
skill. At the time of summative assessment, the student will be able to write effectively as they
have worked in an effective manner by focusing on the writing skills. The use of formative
feedback provides opportunities to improve and perform good at summative feedback.
3 Identify cultural and behaviour expectations for studying business and management degree
At the time of studying business and management degree there are several expectations
of the students. They want to enhance their personality and develop the same in order to get a
good job. There is need of analysing the situation of the market and then working in such a
manner that helps to become a good person. A person who is doing a course in business and
management want to understand all the culture (Wang and et.al., 2018). They want to accept
multi culture and must become ready to bear the changes in market. Culture includes the norms
and values that must be followed to work effectively. It helps to know about the way people live
in social groups. It teach the way a person should react in a situation. By doing business and
management course a person wants to adjust in every culture and respect the same. It assist in
dealing with changes and different circumstances that may take place. Some students go out of
their nation to do their studies they start understanding the culture of that place. These students
are adoptable for each and every situation. It is seen that students learn from the feedback and
that change their behaviour (Perusso, Blankesteijn and Leal, 2020). The student must learn to be
positive and deal with all the uncertainty situation in effective manner. At the same time they

must be risk taking because there are several risk that present at the time of doing own business
and being manager in a business organisation.
4 Explain the importance of peer to peer support and learning experience.
Peer to peer support is one of the best learning technique. It plays a integral role in
development of the students journey. The peer are able to understand the situation and help the
students to take right actions. The peer are able to tell the truth and the strengths and weakness so
that they are able to develop the same. It is analysed that by taking help of peers the person is
able to take the feedback in effective manner. It helps to improve the attitude of students towards
learning. They are able to enhance their skills with the help of proper support that is being
allotted to them. It enhances the team working skills of the students they are able to learn from
each other and cooperate. They develop the skill to work together and help others to develop
their skills (Daniëls, Hondeghem and Heystek, 2020). The students are engaged towards each
other and work in proper manner with the help of proper learning experience that is being
provided to them. The students are also able to get high academic achievement and good marks
at the end. There is strengthening of the skills that would lead to development of the students
knowledge and skills and improvise the same. It is necessary that peers must check the
performance of each other on regular basis and at the same time give right feedback to their
friends. It is also observed that students are able to gain more confidence and work properly with
the feedback that they get from their friends.
CONCLUSION
From the above report, it is concluded that there is key role of studies in the life of a
person. A student must analyse the present situation of the nation and check its impact. In this
report there is discussion related to formative feedback as it helps to improve summative work.
Afterwards, the cultural and behaviour expectations of business and management students is
being analysed. The importance of peer to peer support is being examined in the end of this
report.
