ESSAY
I have learned so many things during this session such as role of business management
and its impact on framing strategy as well making plan of the firm. It was lecture that was
received from professor of the university. There are multiple lectures that have been delivered to
us such as business environment, marketing mix, digital lectures and technology skills,
Knowledge and creativity. It becomes important for scholar to ready for changing business and
work according to that. Mc Donald’s, Pepsi etc. major companies of United Kingdom and the
way in which they work in market and strategy use by them to attract large number of customers.
I have understand that marketing mix plays important role in making business plan, it has 7
elements namely product, price, promotion, place etc. and according to planning is done (Salter,
Salandra and Walker, 2017). However there are multiple factor which can become barrier in
growth of the firm such as political situation of the country, economical reforms for example it
was explain in the seminars that Britain exit from European union create chaos. Also, understand
that BREXIT increase tariff and importing become difficult for the firm so in future before
beginning any venture I will try to analyse macro drivers that can become barrier in it. SWOT
give brief detail about strength and weakness of organisation and the way in which it can be
overcome for example: effective supply chain management can hamper growth of company.
Knowledge lectures highly impact on my skills that can be use in my working and able to
achieve higher goals on time. There are multiple resources that are used for lectures such as
internet, books, journals etc. it help me a lot in understanding business and its surrounding.
Digital lectures again give completed details regarding tools that become important part of
various function of organisation For example: Firm use Facebook, twitter, Instagram etc. for
promotion of product as large number of customers available on this sites. However, there are
multiple firms which still believe media as a best source for promotion business such as
newspaper, magazines etc. as people genuinely read advertisement and easily attracted. Mouth to
mouth publicity was one of the best concept as i have understand from the lectures but it can
only be successful when organisation delivering high quality product and services. Project
management, MS Word & Excel etc. different types of computer software use by various firm in
United Kingdom to prepare report for example: Marketing team of Pepsi and Colgate use it for
making report which submitted to Research & development team and hence they able to make
quick changes in process in order to gain competitive advantage in changing business and

increase market share (Mariampillai, 2019). Creativity, innovation and knowledge are very
important in the world of globalization and organization can implement it in product
development and hence able to increase customer satisfaction level as I understand from the
report created.
My knowledge highly enhances from these lectures and these skills can easily use by me
at workplace and hence improve efficiency, quality and productivity of work. Managing
businesses is important task and require various kind of analytical that i have understood from it
for example: software skills are improves from it. This knowledge helps me in various situations
such as in exam i will able to give examples which will positively impact on my knowledge.
Also, changing working style requires variety of skills such as managing people, understanding
political and economical situation which enhance from lectures (Salter, Salandra and Walker,
2017). In United Kingdom most of question in interview asked from this lectures only and hence
increase chances of employability. I evaluate that there are number of strength in me such as
managing time and punctuality which are necessary for professionalism. Also, understand
various kinds of theory and model which are highly beneficial for changing business and can
impact on business. If I will start business in future then use it. However, there are many
weaknesses in me that observed during thus sessions such as note making takes lots of times,
software skills are poor etc. hence try to overcome so that cannot become barrier in professional
development of mine. There are number of Bucks Graduate Attributes that improve during this
session such as my leadership skill enhance during this sessions. Creativity and innovation also
enhance which can help me in future jobs. I feel that lectures can easily be understood by me
because of over confidence and there are number of problems i faced during learning as well as
listening. I feel that this session must be conducted timely to enhance knowledge and know what
changes can make in professional life.
Now I am able to understand university’s courses related to business environment are
very necessary it help individual in acquiring knowledge and improve skills which can positively
impact on professional life. There are number of challenges I can face when try to become good
student such as poor note making and software skills can become barrier in my growth and need
to be improved (Johnston and Reeves, 2019). I will try to develop note-making skills by taking
help from friends and professor and collect on information in device for future record. Take a
separate couching for software which helps me in preparing reports, sharing presentation in

student as well as in professional life. Evaluation from friend and professor will be done by me
so that able to understand if i am improving or not and it will help me to become effective
student. I have learn that reflection on my practices help me to develop professional and personal
plan which help me in improving various sets of skills.
It can be analysis from my reflection that there are many things which i missed during my
lectures on can improve and on the contrary able to understand that what changes needed to
become an effective student. Business management lectures help me in future professional life as
well as i can take this things for reference when i am starting own company. Planning and
strategy of company highly impacted from marketing mix and business environment and hence i
have to focus on it.
