Section 1
An Introduction including a description of Academic Integrity
Academic integrity is the moral aspects and the behavioral approach which are considered in
all the academic sessions. It implicates all the commitments and the ethical conducts which
are being used by the individual in academic sessions. Their main agenda is to remove all the
plagiarism, misconducts in the educational sectors and also to develop academic integrity.
This focus on making the person ready to adapt all the ethical and the moral practices for
future growth and development. The main aim of the Academic integrity is to provide a
method and the approach in which the person tends to behave and reflect their identity and
working patterns. Some of which are like as follows: Respect- This is mainly an important element which provides that all the students in
their academic sessions should give a proper respect to their teachers and elders. This
can be made by attentively listening to them and also by managing all the work in

been seen that their no teacher should do any kind of discrimination with the student
and they should always give them feed backs and results according to their
performance. This will create an ethical and fair environment for all the academic
areas and sessions (Johnson, Sellbom, and Glenn, 2018). Responsibility- Academic integrity considers this to be an important factor for all as
the teachers and the students should manage to maintain all the duty to be on timely
basis. Their cannot be given any kind of issue between them and they are tend to
manage all the responsibilities which are reflected in their working areas. As teachers
tends to make their work in proper manner by guiding the students providing them all

responsibility that they should complete the task on timely basis and manage all the
assignment on time (Lee, 2019).
Honesty- Their can not be any kind of misleading which is to be made on behalf of
teachers and the students . It s important to manage all the things fairly without doing
an issue and work that can effect the image of the institution
A discussion of the importance of academic integrity in higher
education
In order to make the ethical and moral standard in all the educational areas it is
important to manage the academic integrity. The main aim of this is to create a transparency,
clarity and honesty in the performance of the student and also in the education system.
Professors and all the students should always manage the integrity in their educational
practices as this will implies to manage ethical conducts and trust in the system. Some of the
major importance of the academic integrity are like:
It generates a trust in the students mind as when the universities and the educational
institution follows the academic integrity this will make students to trust on the
system and they will work accordingly (Khan, Mumtaz, and Rakhman, 2020).
When the integrity in academic is managed this will help to gain a greater reputation
of the education system in front of all the other areas. And this will make them to
manage the moral conducts and the educational boons and management (Uzun, and

This make a future balance between the students and the teachers working their as that
implies to build trust between them and also manage a confidence om the system.
Thus, it focus on managing the image and the reputation of the institutions and also
helps to bring confidence on the educational sector. Their is been seen that it confers all the
methods through which the student will also learn the importance of academic integrity and
they will imply this in their future goals and programs. Their is been seen that all such areas
and the working can manage and provide the proper and systematic functioning (Eaton, and
Christensen Hughes, 2020).
Discuss the implications of academic misconduct
The academic misconducts is the unethical practices which manages and take all the
actions in an dishonest manner through which the the student and the institution are majorly
being affected. These are all the illegal activities in which the educational areas do not take
much action and which leads ti affect the performance of the student and their regular
working ideas (Barkoukis, Lazuras, and Kourelis, 2020). Some of the major issues which
came in notice for all the academic misconducts are like plagiarism, cheating, falsification of
data and many more. In order to remove all such methods and the issues some of the strict
actions are needed to be taken. Their are various academic misconducts in which some are as
follows: Plagiarism- This is mainly when the student use to take another person's data or the
work by showing their own will be considered to be as plagiarism. This involves all
the acknowledgment of some one else data on their own name, it is unacceptable
practice which affect the person who has done all the efforts in order to complete the
task (Vardeman, and Henry, 2020). Cheating- It is the unethical practice in which all the false details and the deception of
any paper of document is being made by the individual in order to complete any task.
This can also be when the student look and copy some other persons work so as to
manage and gain more marks.
Falsification of data- It involves all the fabrication of the data through which student
tends to hide or give the working and the irrelevant information which is being
needed. This is mainly when any such unethical practices is being done by the student
in their academics.

All these misconducts affects the academic areas and the reputation of the
institution this also violates the rights of the students and the authenticity of the work which
are being presented by them. Academic misconducts creates an immoral and bad image of the
educational sector as it also demotivate the students who are trying and giving all their efforts
in order to perform well in their academic (Clarkson, 2021). This also make the student to
loose confidence on the education system and this manages and implicates an unhealthy
working environment.
Section 2
Reflect on the steps you have taken, and difficulties encountered in
producing the game for Project 2
I realized that academic misconducts is all the unethical practices through which the
work of the students are being taken against the rules and the norms. I also noticed that
plagiarism is also a major concern for the institutions as using some other persons ideas,
thoughts, expression and language will amount to effect the hard work of the student wasted
and also effect the image pf the institution. I felt that it is important to manage the academic
integrity so as to create a trust and also balance in all the institutional areas. Their is been
seen that it should be served important to follow all the norms and the ethical values in the
academic areas.
While acknowledging all such methods I came up with an idea to make a game so as
to know about the plagiarism and create awareness ion the students to remove all such things
from their academic sessions. So I made a plagiarism check game through which student will
able to know in details bout the issues and the reason of plagiarism and can remove the
misconduct from their life.
I had made a game in which 4 groups are to be divided in the classroom and in which
their were 12 balls in the basket 3 of same color and their will be asked questions from each
groups that are related to plagiarism. The correct answer will award 30 marks and the bonus
marking will be given for 50. All the question will be related to the academic misconduct and
plagiarism. The teams which will give the right answers will win. Their were some
difficulties which I faced as while making the game they are like:
I realized that it is difficult to frame questions which will enhance the knowledge and
will also reflect about the plagiarism and academic misconduct.
Document Page
It was difficult for me to manage and design the game so as that can draw attention of
the student and they will actively participate in it.
The linking of the game with the ethical perception and ideas tp be reflected to
general students were quiet difficult.
Although I felt excited while making the game but all this were stressful and created a
major burden on me to manage and provide all sort of useful information with which the
academic misconducts can be removed and the integrity can be made.
Reflect on the skills you have learned this academic year and those
emphasized in producing your game
I felt that there are some important skills which are been needed in order to make this
game interesting and knowledgeable. Some of the major skills I developed through this are
like: Time management skill- This is an important skill for all the person as in order to
make a game or to complete the task it is important to serve and manage time. For me
this use to be my strength as I can manage all my work on proper schedules and their
will be proper time management in all such tasks. Creativity skills- This is mainly the innovative ideas and the thoughts which can be
made reflected in the work. I gained this skill by attaining the ideas and the thoughts
to be in creative and critically thinking ability. Artistic vision- this skills is important to know about the observations and the ideas
made by the person. From this game I gained this skills as it developed an ideas in my
behavior through which I can make the observation skills to be rightly used and
managed. Combination of logic and fun skills- It is important to manage the game in such a
way that it generates and reflect the logic and the fun ideas with a lesson to be given
top the student. I gained the knowledge of this skill as now
Research skill- As for making this game I had done so many research so as to
implement and manage all the working and to make the work knowledgeable for all. I
am good in managing all such work and is well aware about this research skill.
From all skills I realized that research skill and the artistic vision has helped me out in
order to manage the work properly and to make the game in proper format.
