INTRODUCTION
The reflective learning is a type of education that reflects learning experience of students on
a particular subject. This is international and complex process through which student can
recognise particular role of experience and social context. The report highlights influence of
Covid-19 pandemic on the industry of Hospitality (Bharuthram, 2018). It includes use formative
feedback for inform and enhancement of summative assessed work. The report covers cultural
and behavioural expectations for studying business and management. It evaluates importance of
team working along with peer support during learning experience.

Impact of Covid-19 on travel, leisure and hospitality
Due to Covid-19 pandemic economy of the world is going down and decline the business
activity of the hospitality industry. The pandemic situation is confronted the hospitality industry
which includes unprecedented challenges. The overall strategies combines of flatten Covid-19
curve like community lockdown, staying home, social distancing, restrictions of mobility which
causes closure stage of hospitality industry (Chang and et.al., 2018). The demand of the travel,
leisure and hospitality industry decreases and their operational activities continuous into
declining stage. Each hotel and restaurants limit their operational activities due to restrictions
comings towards travel (Dallmann, 2021). The government is also very concern about the safety
of people and issues the authority which result in sharp decline in operational activity of
Hospitality and travel industry. The impact of pandemic allow dine in restaurants to open after
some time with reduced capacity. They need to follow all guidelines restrictions such as social
distancing in the domestic as well as international level.
While in travel and hospitality industry the impact of Covid-19 is start recovering business
operation activities by the help of implication of substantial changes to handle these issues. The
industry need to ensure health, safety of employees and customers and improve customer
willingness to enhancing their profitability ratio (Conole, 2018). The number of Job vacancy has

been lost in travel and hospitality due to decline in its business activity. This will impact upon
country unemployment, GDP and economy ratio so people livelihood gets highly impacted. The
investor become very pessimistic as value of share market of hotel and travel industry goes
down. The confidence of shareholder falls on continues basis as they are not in the position to
repay dividends. But the concern related with health, safety and hygiene also improves in
employees, customer of the travel and hospitality industry (Gidman, 2019). Along with this loss
in tourism will promote the environment gain as activities of greenhouse will gets reduced. The
profits margins of travel agency and hotels gets decline during the time of pandemic. The group
and leisure travel almost in the face of stopped owing due to the fear of infected or spreading the
infection to other people.
Use of formative feedback to enhance summative assessed work
The formative feedback is a continuous process which aid teachers to concentrate on
improving learning process of students. It will promote appropriate knowledge to the students
and explore their limitations to update motivation level (Hsiao, 2017). It is consider as
autonomous ability of learning to evaluate module of learning to deliver useful outcome. The use
of formative assessment is used to examine learning ability of students and deliver ongoing
feedback through this teacher will enhance improved process of learning. This will aid students
to recognise weakness and strength on the subject area. This will ultimately aid in identifying
students in their struggling that will solve problem on regular basis.
The purpose of summative assessment recognises and evaluate learning process after end
of instructional unit that can be compare from the standard benchmark. The highly information
of summative assessment that can be utilise in formal way by faculty. The example of summative
assessment such as paper, a senior recital, midterm exam etc (Kostolanyova, 2018). It will guide
in appropriate manner by the course of subsequent course. The instructor used formative
assessment to improve summative assessed work because formative feedback is diagnostic form
that directs and improve quality of teaching and learning (Li, 2019). Whereas summative
assessment is executed at end of the module which will facilitates administration decision related
with effectiveness. In brief formative feedback is effective tool during the course of action where
continuous improvement has been seen during fulfilment of student learning objective. This

Identify cultural and behavioural expectations
The culture are the basic norms which act as standard benchmark in order to study
management and business. This will conduct expectations as well as rules which will instruct
people and their behaviour towards social groups (Li, 2020). The cultural and behaviours
expectations are learned into the reinforcement from friends, parents, teachers as well as from
growing society. The cultural behaviour is form of expectation behaviour that is exhibited
humans that covers extrasomatic and extragenetic (Rapp, 2020). This is the system of beliefs,
attitude and constitute behaviour that deals during learning activities in business and
management degree. This is kind of complexity set which cover the aspect of cultural diversity
expectations that will help in dealing directly with different language. The various cultural and
behaviour expectation has been studying in understanding business and management.
National or societal-The various culture deals towards awareness in the cultural
dynamics which adopt the pattern of nationality. This is particularly more relevant while
entering into market of products and services. This is utilise by the cross border
divisional labour that will outsourcing international relationship.
Organisational culture-The cultural level which focus upon updating experience
towards cultural dynamic in company. These are especially relevant towards
globalisation in M&A.
Functional culture- The level of culture will address during cross functional
effectiveness that is highly based upon culture developed during specific units of
business.
Team culture- Team culture becomes highly apparent during the ream development with
distinct identity some culture. The effectiveness is building team towards global in order
to matrixed organisation (Ma and et.al., 2020). This will understand proper collaborate in
terms of complex in the dynamic situation that is essential.
Individual culture- The building blocks of culture are presenting towards dynamics
interpersonal and intrapersonal. The understanding of the level is most important for
successful fulfilment of business culture expectations.

Importance of team working and peer support
The team in the working place can not perform well without team working so for successful
business team working and peer support is most significant to accomplish meaningful purpose to
support professional world. This contributes new and exclusive ideas to the business
development by introducing fresh idea to succeed in the competitive environment. This will
develop unique perspective to provide unique benefit to the business. The peer support and team
working will contribute unique business idea of each individual. The peer support helps in
solving problem by appropriate collaborating in the group that will resolve difficult in the
problems (Reerink and et.al., 2021). The braninstorming is most useful activity which deliver
good opportunity for team in transforming creative ideas and promote unique ways. This will
contribute more perfect solution to perform best practices (Xu and et.al., 2020). This is ensuring
more support in achieving goal and objective by which teamwork will create unique system so
that overall work will be done on deadlines. The work quality is also improving with support of
peer and team working. The team will manage work on time with high quality of work by
support of team working in organisation. The business goal will get accomplish goal on time
which operates work in effective manner.
The teamwork established morality which promote value and contribute productive results
to the business problems. It will enhance the level of productivity during the system of business
practices. It will boost the individual and team confidence that established trust within each team
member (Reese, 2020). By working together in team will develop strong sense towards
belonginess and strong commitment to accomplish organisational goal. The peer support is
effective group of men as well as women that demonstrates by the unity of feeling to collaborate
and motivate. The effective team explore effective skills that support accomplishment of goal
objective (Somerkoski, 2020). This will enhance skill set of individuals so that they can develop
more amazing outcome. It will be established strong working relationship to contribute more best
results. It will help in reducing stress level and maintain work life balance in working
environment. They coordinated in more synchronised manner to develop more confidence and
secure risk in manging work. It will ensure level if innovation and creative idea which help
business to stand out from its competitors.

From the above report it has been concluded that situation of pandemic impact the entire
industry of travel, leisure and hospitality. The profitability and revenue level gets affected due to
restrictions and lockdown for health and safety concern. The effective relationship of team and
peer working will deliver more productivity and complete the work on time. The formative
feedback used by the instructor to improve student learning module of the particular subject. The
