INTRODUCTION
Business management is defined as the concept of designing and coordinating all
business operations with the help of proper planning. It is concerned with the income been
earned and at the same point of time it is concerned with the sector of profitability. Both business
and management are in relation with planning, organising, analysing overall operations(Sadjadi
and Menhaj, 2020). The responsibilities of business managers includes helping employees in
order to reach at the top. The below report includes certain reasons for doing the project,
different business options, benefits of options been considered, consequences, project time scale,
costs followed by conclusion. The report is based on LTR which is an housing association in
Luton Town centre. The main mission of association is to offer housing for all local communities
in terms of providing assistance as well as support to all vulnerable individuals.

Reasons for doing the project, problems and background
The report is based on LTR. It is a housing association located in Lutan and is operating
in central office suite. The company has one mission which is to offer housing to all local
communities whose main focus is on providing assistance(Innocenti, Lunkes and Gasparetto,
2021). It involve housing blocks which is been divided into general purpose housing and
supported housing. In context with general purpose housing there are four housing blocks which

is available in different location in same Lutan and everyone has their own office. In context
with supported housing it provides an emergency hostel for young people, transitional flats for
the age group of 16-18 years and two hotels for young mothers from the age group of 16-25
years.
There are many problems that arise as in context with organisational communication. In
terms of this, when use the technique of sending e-mail many staff members had the issue in
managing such e-mails(Martínez-López and et.al, 2020). They were also facing the issue that
they were not able to get responses from all emails been sent due to which team is not able to
provide information to other members. Due to COVID pandemic lock down got occurred due to
which staff members were feeling frustrated as they were experiencing problems due to remote
working. People were not happy to be available at all the time whether with the help of e-mails
or remote working. The main reason to do this specific project is to solve all type of issues by
using different methods and developing different teams to give their opinions in order to solve
this project.
Different business options been considered
There are different departments like general purpose housing, finance and supported
housing department. All teams perform their roles in order to solve certain issues. As in context
with general purpose housing they are responsible to manage all issues happening in their
particular area. If an individual any kind of problem they need to contact to their customer
service team. In context with the finance team they use spreadsheets, word documents as well as
sage one accounting(Chabowski and Samiee, 2020). As there is a maintenance team a proper
cloud system is followed so that all facilities and issues can be effectively managed. In terms of
supported housing department they use different functional teams and also assign a personal
coach who keeps sensitive information through secured password on their laptops.
Company faced many problems as employees were getting pissed off from all type of
remote working, the general administration staff was getting unhappy, senior executives felt that
communicating through e-mails is not a effective method and so on. To consider different
business options it is further been explained as below:- Do nothing:- It is defined as the concept in which company make no changes even when

it should be done by taking opinions from them.

company moved on to other necessary solutions. The company along with all team
members decided that they require a more better team who can communicate in much
effective way as both in an informal way or even for business operations(Block and et.al,
2020). In context with finance team they needed a new platform for communication. The
personal coaches requested that all communications should have integration with Office
365. So, to deal with all such issues LTR used different strategies. It has been
recommended that making changes is the best option one can provide to solve all kind of
problems.
In context with company doing something else is the most effective option. As company is now
providing the platform which provides robust and support to solve all kind of technical problems.

This model is used by companies in order to rank their strategies been taken and in
accordance with it the best one is chosen. As in context with options that LTR chose it is been
explained as below:-

is good because many staff members do not access to laptops so it was beneficial for them. In
context with measurable terms 50% of staff members were happy by using these type of
strategies because their issues were getting solved(Del Vecchio and et.al, 2020). Due to this data
was getting more protected and secured. In terms of qualitative terms it was enhancing the
quality of company also as new platform was getting established and various solutions were been
provided like Microsoft teams, discord and Flow dock.
Expected dis-benefits
While having a successful project there are certain disadvantages also by using those
strategies. When the company started initiating a new communication platform they were facing
consequences also as many staff members felt that new platform was complexed and for them it
was not easy to use. Some people were happy also but the dis-benefit was that due to new
establishment it would involve huge cost and it will be expensive for their company.

The time period of whole project is 6 months in which all issues which were been faced
by staff members were getting solved by using different strategies(Azis and Azis, 2020). As in

From the above report it is been concluded that business management can be successful

Gibbs model of reflection
This model is used in order to examine all learning experiences. It provides a cyclic
nature which is specifically used to plan as well as learn from all kind of things whether it is
done effectively or not. It includes six stages which are description, feelings, evaluation,
analysis, conclusion and at last the action plan. In the below report I have used and developed
my certain skills during my learning experiences. The skills which I developed are further been
explained as below:- Description:- This stage is the very first phase in which the overall situation is described.
It involve certain questions like what actually happened during all experiences. During
this stage I developed my communication skills in terms of both verbal as non verbal
communication. I experienced that due to my effective communication skills only I was
able to do proper learning. During my learning experience I was interacting will people in
accordance with discussion and presentations also but in some situations I was interacting
with them through the method of report writing. In terms of all learning experiences I
used my skills and with the help of this only I developed my other skills also which is
very beneficial in the organisation. I experienced that my interaction with other people
was enhancing because of my effective communication. To develop my communication
it were been applied in the organisation.
Costs
In terms of the project cost it was $30000 and in terms of all kind of maintenance costs it
involve $10000.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it is been concluded that business management can be successful
only if proper planning has been done and if any issues are been faced by staff members then
should get solved by using certain methods and making changes in the organisation. It is
necessary to solve all problems in order to create a good image of company and for this different

This model is used in order to examine all learning experiences. It provides a cyclic

also. Through my learning experience the overall feeling is that now I have enhanced my
skill of team work. Evaluation:- This is the third phase of model which defines both positive as well
negative situations that happened during an event. So, in context with my learning
experience I analysed that I developed my skill of numeracy. It created a positive
situation because during my whole experience I used specific data and statistics in order
to analyse everything. A learning experience gets enhance when each numerical data is
provided in a right manner. So, as per my learning experience I used my skill which I
developed during the phase of learning. I used necessary information of overall data and
effectively participated in all seminar activities. During my phase of learning there were
many activities been conducted in which statistics was needed so in context with that I
developed my numeracy skills. Analysis:- This phase determines what actually has been learnt during the experience. It
includes all problems that have been experienced and what were the positive situations.
During my learning experiences I developed my problem solving skills. As by analysing
my experience also during collecting necessary information which was needed many
problems got occurred but with respect to it I developed my problem solving skills and it
all happened because I was having my key skills of communication, team work and
numeracy skills also. During analysing my learning I also experienced that I developed
my ICT skills. As I was using Microsoft office programs during my overall experience so
through this my skill got enhanced because using such programs is a great thing for an
through reports also. Due to my effective interaction skills only I was able to enhance my
