Introduction
Motivation is the word which is derived from the the word motive and it means needs
and desire, wants or drives within the individual. It is the process of stimulating people to
actions to complete the goals and objectives of the company. It is important in every
organization as when the employees will be motivated they will work with the full
dedication and it will also help the company to grow and expand its business and raise
the revenue. This is the basic need for every employee and the managers and the higher
authority people are responsible for this because they are the guiding people and the
people who will motivate the employees and then the employees will be appreciated for
their good performance in the company and when the employee is appreciated, it is a
sense of achievement for the employee
What does Motivation Mean?
Motivation is the act or process for giving someone a reason for doing something and it is
the condition of being eager to act to work. There is need of motivation in every
organization as there is lack of motivation among the employee. Maslow’s hierarchy
theory is the theory of motivation which explains the five need of the employee I the
organization which are discussed above in detail:
Physiological needs: these are the biological needs which are needed for the
survival for example air, water, clothing, shelter, sex and many more, if these needs
are not satisfied in the human body then the functioning will be compromised and
also Maslow considered these needs as the most important need among all the
needs(Sadeghinia and Taleb, 2022).
Safety needs: when the physiological needs are satisfied then there are the needs
about the security and safety and then this becomes the priority. The employees
want to experience order, predictability, and control in their lives. These needs can
be fulfilled by the family and society. This can be done by the family member through
the emotional support also.
Love and belonging needs: after both the physiological and safety needs are
satisfied then comes the love and belonging need which includes feeling of human
being and belongingness refers to the human emotional need for interpersonal
relationships, affiliating, connections and being part of a group of people.
Esteem needs: these are the needs which include having self respect and keeping
dignity and the mastery all independent and it is the desire for the reputation or
respect from the other employees or people around in the organization.

the employees are working on same platform, with conflicts in ideas people
