PERSONAL STATEMENT

Why are you applying for Business and management 4 year foundation Degree course?
I want to work as manager in leading organisation for that I need strong professional
skills. This course will help me in establishing my career in management field. I will get to know
issues in business world and ways to resolve such problems. Business management is very
exciting environment for me because it has many challenges and opportunities. By getting
admission in this course I would be able to improve my skills and manage business effective
through which I would be able to contribute well in improving lives of people directly or
indirectly.
Why does this subject interest you?
I have completed GCSE from Burnage media Arts college. I have learnt about English
language, religious and design technologies. I have also worked for British Museum and helped
in raising money for charity. I realised that I like to work such kind of things. I believe that more
I will learn about such things, more interest I would be able to develop in social welfare things.
Hence this course is subject interest for me.
Why do you think you are suitable for this course
I noticed that the more I focus or study on any subject I discover new things within me
which is more than management field. I am able to manage consumers complains softly and
politely which is essential for a manger. I can lead team which make me suitable for his course. I
love to play sports, as I am very competitive person. I am creative as well which makes me
unique from others. I am enthusiastic and punctual which is necessary I to have in management
level person. I have good communication skill too which must be in manages. Hence I have all
the qualities that can make my career as manager in the leading firms..

No I have not study related courses previously
Have you taken part in any other activities that demonstrate your interest in the course?
I have contributed in raising money for charity at British muslim heritage. I have also
worked as project manager for charity football competition. Both these participation of mine for
social wellfare where money was used for the welfare of children of Syria.

Work experience and future plans
I am working in Barinda Balti cottage as head waiter where I have to answer phone calls
and have to deal with consumer enquiries and also have to maintain cleaning. I have also
worked as sales advisor in Vodafone. Where I had to sell counter products to consumers.
I like to work more for social welfare and community development. I am looking at the
career development or progression opportunity by getting admission in this reputable university.
I want to know more about business management, business techniques and management
fundamentals. My future plan is to get admission in this course so that I can become a successful
manager in leading firm
