Part one:
Define the concept of personal and professional development.
Personal and Professional development is a process where individuals tend to
learn and enhance their knowledge (Di Paola and Wagner, 2018). This process is
very important for the bright future of the individuals as it help them to achieve the
aspired goals.
Describe the importance of short term goals and give at least 3
examples to support the point.
The goals set by an individual for a short duration are termed as short-term
goals. These goals may be for a period of 6-18 months and are considered as the
first step to success. The achievement of these goals boost the morale and
confidence of individuals along with the development of an individual. My short-term
goals are:
 To socialize with more and more people.
 To focus more on my art skills.
 To enhance my general knowledge.
Describe the importance of medium term goals and give at least 3
examples to support the point.
The goals that are neither long-term goals nor short-term goals are termed as
medium-term goals. These goals are usually the extension of short-term goals and
have a duration of about 2-3 years (Kumar and Meshram, 2021). My medium-term
goals are:
 To grow my professional network.
 To complete my degree.
 To save for my home down payment.
Describe the importance of long term goals and give at least 3
examples to support the point.
The goals which have to be achieved in the long run of life are termed as
long-term goals and may last for 3-5 years or even more. These are considered as

the main objectives of an individual for which they set various short-term and
medium-term goals (Hawley, 2020). My long-term goals are:
 To learn a foreign language.
 To get a reputed job.
 To get recognized for my art.

construct an illustration with the help of my goals.
A plan to enhance the skills possessed by an individual can be defined as
personal development plan (Hernandez, 2022). Execution of such plan helps an
individual to gain competitive edge over its competitors and grab opportunities that
lie in the way.
