Concept of personal and professional development
Personal and professional development is defined as those activities in which
individuals are associated in order to enhance their skills and capabilities for the
major purpose to lead their career. These aspects assist individual to develop their
own skills by which they can minimise weaknesses by involving themselves in varied
development programs.
Value of short term goals with 3 personal examples
Short term goals are categorised as the goals due to which duration of
attainment of long term goals can be decreased. In another terms it can be said that
short term goals are those goals which are requisite to be attained within one year of
time lap.
Examples: -
 To provide scheduling of 15 minutes briefing to staff.
 To find out a trainer in order to learn various lessons in sports.
 To make 150 calls between 11a.m to 8 p.m.
Value of medium term goals with 3 personal examples
Medium term goals are defined as those takes little higher time to be
accomplished in comparison of short term goals. These are helpful in bridging time
gap between normal routine activities and long term insights. These goals are
required to be attained within time gap of 1-3 years.

 To get graduation degree from a renowned college.
 To own a house.
 To manage quality survey from customer in every 60 days.

Long term goals are defined as the goals which are attained by an individual in
their future. These require high end planning and need 5-10 years.

Personal development plan is defined as the process in which skills of
individuals are improved which is lacking in them and can be enhanced by using
