The businesses management is a study to develop skills in managerial career. This
programme is about managing a business and study the concepts of accounting, marketing,
business economics and operations and information system management. This course cover the
principles of business management and provides opportunities in all grounding in business
management. This report content all the details of business management, provide a useful
information about business management foundation and build a broad foundation of knowledge
on all the aspects of businesses. Which is useful in functioning framework of planning, decision-
making, organisation, leading, controlling and specific topics in management.

Definition of the concept of personal and professional development
Personal development plans also as called individual development plan. Personal
development is a process to create personal growth in action plan based on values, strength,
awareness, goal setting and planning for personal development for career, education and for self
betterment in future. Professional development refers to training sessions to improve their skills
for betterment and developing teaching techniques in a effective manner. Professional
development mainly focus on learning professional credentials for academic degree like
coaching, mentoring and technical assistance it helps to broad their knowledge in their subject
area. The aim of personal and professional development is helpful to develop own capability,
focusing on learning, growth goal setting, self confident and potential. It is important to learn and
develop skills and knowledge in their educational or jobs area for personality development . It is
a better way to access own capability to set goals in life and tackling problems in life.
Description and discussion of the value of short term goals identifying at least
3 personal examples
A Short term goal refers to achieve something in near future , The near future like set to
achieve today or next week, next month or next year. Setting short term goals for future is useful
to work in professional manner and being more productive , improving skills and setting goals
and planning for future achievement. It can help to establish goals to support and succeeded in

short period of time. Short term plans are important to accomplish for long term plans for career
goals. It brings progress in career and helps to focus own their professional life. For examples :
Improving skills and techniques: Most of the jobs requires soft and hard skills in workplace. Like
working as marketing manger developing skills and techniques to work more effectively and
efficiently manner. Developing communication skills: in a productively way like focusing on
grammar, pronunciation, accent and etc. Balancing between work and personal life:
accomplishing goals and success can improve performance but maintaining both will bit difficult
over workload can bring health hazards isn't good for body too much stress can cause depression.

least 3 personal examples
A Medium term goals last longer than short term goals. It refers to the period of goals
which last for few months from the present time. Long term goals take a lot of time and efforts to
be achieved where as medium term goals are achieved quicker while the daily short term goals
are fulfilled making the business experienced and gives them progress towards the long term
goal. Medium term goals keeps a person motivated and enthusiastic towards their work. For
example: People often set and focus in only one goal, studies shows that focusing on only one
long term goal makes it boring and eventually makes a person end it. Where as adding new goals
keeps a person going and can also learn from new challenges, and keeps the businessmen excited
about their long term goals. A business should not miss opportunities and give up on short and
medium term goals that would effect organisation's long term goals, therefore it can be
concluded that as much as long term gaols are important similarly medium term goals are also
important and crucial for a business take note of.

A long term goals is set of plans for future that time, effort and planning to achieve in
future. Long term plans require a good deal of time and daily planning in order to reach certain
targets. Mainly focusing on goals, developing work profession and bringing progress in
workplace with more efforts. Accomplishing big, complex task and completing in time. First
complete ling small targets and then focusing on bigger task. Better accountability in work place

Personal development refers to the ability and qualities in an individual, it is required to
enhance the self build qualities in oneself. It helps an individual by converting their dreams and
aims into reality. It is very important to invest on an individual's development as the potentiality
a person has is measureless. Having self confidence is very crucial and it helps oneself to prosper
in life. It is the responsibility of an individual to analyse its natural and inbuilt abilities and to
enhance and grow more in it. Every thing has an objective, personal development plans require
setting up of a goal. A person should also have short term and medium term goals other than a
long term gaol as it will keep the person motivated and keep him/her going on to achieve the
main objective. Setting up a goal can also create a difference between failure and success, goal
should include every thing which he/she considers important. An inspiring vision and objective
is enough to achieve personal goals.
