Reflection on the T shirt Challenge
As a part of business management studies and being a persuader of the business
management trainee I was given a task to perform the challenge on designing a brand or a logo
that is to be used on different range of T shirt, also the challenge included identifying the
potential market for the product that I was supposed to launch and at last the challenge involved
producing a best and suitable financial model statement that would suggest a good result and
overall profit for the brand. While undergoing this challenge the first thing that was decided by
me and our team was to create a brand or a logo for the company, in which we decided to create
our own brand and a logo for this. For this we unanimously discussed and get to the conclusion
that the brand logo and name should be as simple as possible and should attract the audience in
one shot. While the brand name and the logo was discussed and identified the second and the
most important part for me was to decide about the target audience and the potential market. This
was interesting task that was performed by me because it required a lot of practical knowledge.
For capturing the market we decided to use the model of Segmentation, targeting and
positioning. As our brand was new and had to compete with lots of rivals that were already
operating in market so we decided to produce our brand at a lower price segment without
compromising with the quality. Also the profit margin were taken into consideration where the
idea of higher profits was dropped to smaller one. Also for achieving this, the budget was set by
the tutor which helped me to work in the budget and to take into consideration the cost that
would be required to produce the brand in the market. The lectures that were presented in the
class helped me a lot for preparing the income statement for this challenge.
This challenge helped me to gain the practical knowledge that I was otherwise not able to
gain. Also my marketing as well as the branding knowledge got polished while working on the
challenge.

Action plan
The challenge that was provided by the tutor helped me to clear my views of creating the
skills which focuses on the business administration and operations management. While doing
this challenge the branding, finance and the operations process that the business takes into
consideration was followed by me. The challenge that was provided by my tutor was close to the
real world situation that helped me to gain the knowledge of the process which are required to
promote the brand and to produce the product which is best suited in the amount of budget that
was provided. This helped me to analyse the overcome the audience performance stress. Where
as there were some of the remarks which were taken into consideration while performing this
challenge. The skills that was required by me for overcoming the remarks would be developed as
early as possible so that I would be able to achieve success in near future. The skills that has to
be achieved in the coming future includes the analysis of the income statement and the cost study
so that profit and loss and the budget of the product can be achieved successfully. Also the need
for market analysis that would be required to complete the task and to make the product achieve
success would be demonstrated in future presentations.
