1. Interconnectivity between organization’s strategic direction and project management
There is the need of the interconnection between the project management and the
strategic direction of the organization as the project managers always play crucial role in the
realization of the organizational strategy. This will also eliminate the probability of “pie in
the sky” as it will be linking the entire progress with the operational activities required for the
organizational development. The interlinking will be helpful and effective in tying the
strategies and assuring that the scope is being managed and controlled throughout the project.
It will be helpful and efficient for the leaders of the organization to manage the entire project.
The benefits of this link include more recognition for project management as a profession,
increased visibility for the project manager, actionable strategic plans, more relevant, and a
stronger, smarter company.

The above project structure consist of four executive members who will be
responsible for the management and consideration of the tough decisions related to the

overall project execution. Thereafter, the project management team will be assuring that the
information and strategies developed by the executive members are being delivered in an
effective and efficient way.
3. Project Management Dimensions
Following are the two dimensions of the project management:
Technical dimension: It includes the scope, work breakdown structure, schedules,
baseline budget, resource allocation, and progress report of the project. The managerial and
control activities can be categorized in this section in manner to make sure that the entire
project is well monitored and delivered. This is the strategically development of the project
handled by the project manager in manner to make sure that the project will be accomplished
within the estimated project constraints.
Sociocultural dimension: It includes the problem solving, leadership, negotiation,
problem solving, customer expectation, and political factors. The attributes of the leader or
the manger involved in the project will be playing a crucial role in the development and
execution of the project. It includes the approaches those are crucial for the development and
growth of the project.
4. Project life cycle’s first phase
The first phase of the project focus on the initiation phase that emphasizes on the need
and objective identification of the project. In other words, this phase emphasizes on the
business opportunity or problem. The approval will be required on the proposed solutions and
strategies for meeting the overall objectives and goals of the project.
5. Tools for project control
Gantt chart: the graphical representation of the activities based on the time difference
can be developed using MS project. Moreover, the budgeting and resource allocations related
operations became easier through the application of the MS project. It can also be used for
the identification of the critical activities those are crucial fort the project growth and
following which the entire project could be delivered accordingly. I can also be used for
forecasting the future assumptions of the project that can support all the ongoing operational
activities.

Task 2:
1. Introduction
The Project Plan will contain the details of the renovation as well as the quality
control plan to ensure that the renovation infrastructure meets all the security standards. They
will be updated in the maintenance of the project plan. The plan will include the managers as
well as other officials of the top management who will be approving the changes and the
actual decision makers of the company. The changes that will take place in the system
including the underlying process for implementing the changes required in the renovation
project. Such as change in the budget plans, changes in the hierarchy as well as job roles of
