INTRODUCTION
Business and Marketing are both essential for industry to grow and develop at rapid level.
Both concepts are different from each other & are wider as well as broader. Business is defined as
place where people buy and sell the products and services. Whereas marketing refers to process
through which products or services are promoted or advertised. These two concepts are interlinked
with each other because if product is not sell or bought than marketing cannot be done. In this
report, topic which has been chosen is business and marketing in which certain themes have been
discussed such as equality and diversity, the environment, Brexit, world politics and technology.
Business & marketing helps organisation to run their functions as well as operations in proper
manner. So, both are used at every phase in the process.

1. Evaluate argument in favour of the topic
Business and marketing are the two major elements of organisation. In this argument is in
the favour accordance with several themes such as first one is equality and diversity which states
that it at workplace everyone is to be treated as equal for enhancing mutual relationship with each
other and it is beneficial for organisation because everyone works with ethics and coordination. Yes,
the statement is true which shows that customer profiling decreases representation because
salesman push customer to buy the product aggressively. Because knowing earlier what prospect
wants, makes salesman over confidence. Further theme is environment which depicts that marketers
are responsible for creating wasteful society. This statement is true because use of resources is
increasing waste and affecting the environment. Then comes the Brexit in which it has been said
that marketing will be affected by Brexit more than other corporate industries which is true because
implication of BR slow down the growth of business at wider level. Theme World politics states
that digital marketing tactics pose a threat to democracy which means that people are being
distracted from their moral values because of social medias and with use on digital marketing
elections are being advertised on digital platforms. World of politics on digital platforms also
misuses the or misuse the online guidelines for their own motive (Olson, 2018).
Next is technology which gives statement that promoting ads on passive voice recordings
should be avoided because passive voice recordings can be misused by anyone so these are to be
avoided appropriate manner (Sheth, 2016). Technology is to be used in proper manner so that

information is passed with safety measures and proper manner. This statement is in favour as
passive voice are non-reliable and not so accurate so when using technology and recordings proper
analysis is to be maintained.
Business & marketing is affected by these themes and so it essential to have proper
knowledge about the concepts. Thus, so as the argument is in favour it has been analysed that right
the above stated theme are giving the correct statement. So, these are to be used accordingly in
business and marketing. This is useful for firm because with proper market research & information
these are used effectively (Brennan, 2020).
2. Produce the argument against the selected topic
In this, argument will be against the topic which is business and marketing. According to the
specified themes argument are to be carried out. Equality and diversity theme which specified that
customer profiling decreases representation, rather than increasing it. This statement is false
because getting full knowledge about customers helps in analysing their behaviour and their
requirement & accordingly pitch of salesman occurs. So, customer profiling increasing the
representation and assist business to sale the product in effective manner. Prior knowledge about
customer profile is helpful for both business & salesman. Thus, it is necessary to keep end users
profile and insights in market. Then, theme is about environment in which marketers bear
responsibility for creating our wasteful society is sated and in which the statement is false. This is
because marketers find innovative solution for waste products and recycle them. It assists society to
do waste management in proper manner. In next theme which is Brexit includes that marketing will
be affected by Brexit more than corporate industries. It is against the argument because corporate
industries affect marketing at faster scale. Entry of new business creates problem and challenge for
firm to operate as well as market their product and services in market properly. The next theme
which is world politics in which digital marketing tactics pose a threat to democracy. This is again
against the argument because with helps digital marketing tactics, world of politics become
digitalised and technology users. This also helps in politician to conduct their activities online so
that all mission and objective is achieved in appropriate manner. Further, it has been also state that
using of digital marketing assist in advertising as well as promoting of party at broader aspect. Last
theme is technology in which promoting ads based on passive voice recordings should be avoided is
stated. In today’s competitive world, everyone is using technology so that work becomes simple and
easy. It has become necessity to use technology for everyone. Also it is used for many other
purposes by business & marketing so it is wrong to say that passive voice recording are to be
avoided because it is the fastest way promoting a brand in market with minimum capital. It depends
upon user how technology has been used and for which objective (Chaffey, 2019).

After a brief overview of the above two stated argument it is examined that business and
marketing is wider and different concepts. To understand these concepts, certain theme has been
discussed and which provide easy to analyse them in proper manner. In this argument, it has also
been determined that both play vital role in growth as well as development (Sreen, 2019).The
favour argument is being done because investigator finds that these themes affect the concept in
negative way and which results in negative output. Further, the next argument is against the
statement because investigator thinks it is wrong about these themes because not all of them are true
according to the research. Therefore, both the side perception of investigator is slightly different &
which makes it difficult to understand B& M (Dadwal, 2020).

After a brief analysis of above report, it has been concluded that business and marketing are
essential and which are to be focused by everyone in organisation in appropriate manner. It is
requires high level of skills and knowledge to understand the whole concept in appropriate manner.
Further, according to themes arguments have been carried out both in both ways against as well as
in favour. Themes such equality and diversity, world politics, technology etc. have been undertaken
for the proper argument. With these themes statements have been specified which shows the in and
out of essay and chosen topic. Business and marketing are important part because they drives the
enterprise to achieve goals & objectives. Also, a brief overview has also been dictated which depicts
the actual reason for favour as well as against the topic. Hence, business and marketing are
heterogeneous and have different point of view about the themes.
