Employability Skills is refers to as transferable skills which demanded by each and every
individual in order to become employable. It is also known as “Enterprise Skills” and
“Workplace Skills”.In employability Skills includes fluent communication, Leadership ,
motivation, emotional control, reliability , ability to learn and adopt etc. professional
development is consider as a tools, techniques and training for employees to enhance their skills
and knowledge effectively. Professional development is a continuous process that evolve
individual career. For professional development employees need to keep up to date with current
and relevant skills and knowledge. This report will cover how to organize and manage business
meetings in a formal way and also focus on how to plan, organize and become part of group
meetings. This report also deals with how employees learn job search techniques how to deal
with recruitment agencies and discuss about some online portals like indeed, reed and monster.
Main Body
Businesses refers as an organization and an entity that engaged with many commercial,
professional and industrial activities. Businesses consider organizational and individual efforts to
create , produce and sell products and services for maximum profit. Tesco company is chosen for
this report. Company conducting meetings for the discussion of business growth. Its mandatory
for all the members of the company to participate in business meeting. Company can conduct
business meeting in two way. Informal and formal business meetings. In Informal meeting,
company planed randomly according to the situation and there is no need of proper planning and
procedures. Formal business meetings is pre-planned and follow all the structure and procedures.
In this report, Tesco conducting formal business meeting for the purpose of cover up the losses
which is incurred by the company during covid-19 pandemic. Company shall cover the detail
considerations of a formal business meetings which discussed below-
Identify the Purpose of the Meeting, purpose is consider as an aim and goal of the
company which is important to complete company objective. Tesco company is conducting a
formal meeting so that it is important to understand the purpose of the meeting. The main
purpose of this meeting is to discuss about the present situation of covid-19 and how to manage
and cover all the loses which company got during lock down period. And, how to increase
company sell so that company earn more profit to balance the situation (AlHaidari, 2018).

meeting is important. Tesco company give proper guidelines and information about this meeting
so that all the employees understand the need of this meeting.

to discussed in meeting consider. Tesco set a preliminary agenda of the meeting in a proper

and et. al.,2019).

accomplish the meeting goal and it will be influenced by the meeting outcome. Tesco need to
identify those participant who are good in decision making and who have a knowledge about all
the aspects about the current situation of the company.
Assign roles to the participant, according to the meeting purpose and objective give role
to the participants. Assign role as per the participant ability and capability so that they can easily
focus and engaged with the role. Tesco need to assign meeting role to those employees who are
a facilitator, timekeeper, expert and contributor (Chan and Du-Babcock, 2019).
Decide the meeting location, in this consideration, its important to decide where and
when meeting hold because meeting location helps to set the mind of participants. Tesco need to
set a comfortable meeting space so that all the participants will give their better contribution.
Send the invitation to the key participants and stakeholders, make sure that all the
participants know the purpose of the meeting so that Tesco send a personal invitation to all
participants and stakeholders and also chatting in person to all the invitee to make sure that all
