The business named Hungry Bites will be located at Melbourne. It has a population of 4.8
million. It is a hub of 19.05% of total population of Australia (Population, 2019). Around
49% of the population is of male and remaining 51% of female (Quickstat, 2019). This
location is chosen because it is one of the highly populated cities of Australia. It will benefit
in gaining high potential customer. It will assist in generating higher financial returns.
Number of Staff and Position
You need to identify how many staff you are employing. Are they casual, full time, or part-
time? You also need to identify what position they are employed as. Remember, you are the
owner & manager. What are your duties?
There will be 12 staff members in Hungry Bites. All the employees will be on full time. This
is because it will assist in gaining their higher attention and engagement towards the work.
Among them 2 employees will be at the position of supervisor. They will be heading and
giving appropriate directions to remaining 10 employees. There will be two supervisors as
employees will not face concern in the absence of one supervisor.
It develops the duty to provide reasonable pay to all employees without any biasness. There
will be financial rewards based on performance. It is the responsibility to provide them sick
leave and paid leave. There is the duty to assess the need of the employees and provide them
suitable training. Additionally, it is the duty to provide safe, healthy and learning work
environment to all employees. As a manager, it is a responsibility to motivate the employee
to boost up their morale. It will assist in gaining quality performance and giving rise to
satisfied workforce in Hungry Bites.
