Introduction
Academic skills refers to core skills which is used by the individual or student for present
their topic effectively in front of audience. The skills which are essential for individual in academic
are presentation, writing, referencing and others. It also refers to the internal skills of candidate
which is highly essential for learning and adapting new knowledge from the institute or from the
senior teachers. For polishing the internal skills of individual professor facilitates the various
assignments to students in time (Türkben, 2019). With help of these assignments problem solving
ability of students are easily developed effectively which is helpful for handling any type of
problems easily. Effective academic skills are highly helpful for increasing the career growth
student. Various implications of academic misconduct are also explained in this report which create
for the educational institute. The main purpose of considering academic skills by any educational
institute is to develop good communication with parents and their students for long time. Skills are
also essential for facilitating proper understanding about the topic by individual to audience.

An Introduction including a description of Academic Integrity
Academic integrity refers to the morale or expectations of institutions which was
fulfilled by the students, teachers, researchers and other members of institutes (Ten Cate,
2022). When the expectations are completed by all members then, the honesty, trust, fairness,
respect and responsibility are maintained in front of parents for long time. It leads to enhance
the popularity and revenue of educational institutes easily. For maintaining integrity in the
institutes students played the major role by giving full effort and performance in their study.
Because without full effort of students academics are not able to maintain their reputation
between other educational institutes. Therefore good academic image is highly essential for
attract the all levels of parents easily for availing their services for students. In this process
various effective courses are also important for providing knowledgeable information to
students. Courses includes marketing, human resource, information technology and others. It is
useful for enhancing their thinking habit and developing new ideas. It is necessary for
management that they must understand that high expectations and morals bad impact on the
students mind. Because students have their own limit in the aspect of their potentiality and
ability for adapting the new knowledge. If the limits are crossed then the relations are highly
damaged between student and teacher.

A discussion of the importance of academic integrity in higher
education
In higher education academic integrity has various importance described below-
On student level -
 Student development – With help of academic integrity personality and the internal
sills of students are easily developed. Because these skills are highly essential for doing
the work smartly and in less time (Schocker, Fehrenbach and Schromm, 2021). Due to
development of students their self confidence are effectively enhanced. When the
confidence of the individual are in creased internally then the particular student are able
to solve any type of difficult problems easily. It leads to enhance their performance and
satisfaction level for long time. Time to time development and effective teaching also
helped academy for gaining the trust of students towards management for long period.
 Achieving good knowledge - Gaining advanced and meaningful knowledge from the
educational institutes is a very necessary aspect for students. Because only effective
knowledge helped individual to take right decision in any situation. For increasing their
career growth knowledge played major role in their life. It means that when candidate
have full idea in various fields such as marketing, finance and human resource then,
only candidates are selected in any company for job. Due to this in today's time
educational and other institutes take the test of candidates through interview and online
mode. In this the recruiter easily understand that candidates have how much knowledge
in particular field.
On university level -
 Maintaining stable academic image - It means that in academic or institutes staff or
professors played more role than students for establish academic reputation in front
parents. Because in academics the staff are highly responsible for take care of students.
The connection of the staff and professors are directly connected with parents. Due to
this the various rules, regulations and policies are established in academics by senior
level management. With help of these rules and policies senior easily controlled the
teachers and students (Poza, 2018). With help of these facilities positive behavior are
always maintained by students and teachers towards institute in long run.
 Maintaining fairness – It means that facilitate equal treatment in various aspects to all
students without any type of discrimination. It includes providing knowledge,

maintaining good attitude, monitoring students performance on daily basis and so on.
Without keeping fairness negative word of mouth are easily spread by students. It leads
to enhance the bad impression towards institute in the minds of parents and students are
highly decreased. It create huge financial loss for academic. For reducing this problem it
is necessary for management that they must displayed their money transaction and their
courses fairly. Because fairness are very important to attract the parents in more
numbers.
Discuss the implications of academic misconduct
The implications which are faced by academic due to various misconduct are
described below -
 Cheating – It refers to use of unauthorized materials, information, sources and so on
which was done by individual in illegal manner (Pizzolato, Abdi and Dierickx, 2020).
When any student or other individual done this misconduct then, the management has
the power to take strict actions for that particular student. Due to having this type of
illegal activities by individual in academics their reputation are highly decreased in front
of parents. This type of misconduct also decreased the personality and performance of
the students which is a threat for organization future growth. For reducing this problem
management must take strict actions in fast manner which includes not permit student to
institute for some time.
 Plagiarism - It refers to copy the words, ideas, design etc. of other persons or sources.
Due to this misconduct the internal skills and talents of students get highly decreased.
Due to plagiarism the minds of the students are not developed and they also stopped to
using their own ideas in their projects or the assignments (Oyewole, Rasheed and
Ogunsina, 2018). For reducing these problems management must use reliable agencies
or qualified teachers for distributing paper to students with unique questions at time of
exam. Because with help of unique questions students definitely use their own ideas for
solving their questions. Their productivity are also increased for long term.
 Falsification or fabrication – It means create changes in existing information or
document in form of alteration. Due to this academics are facing problems for
identifying the original documents of students which create negative impact on
administration officer. Because the role of administration officer is to appoint those
students who have good previous academic record (Mahdy and Zaghloul, 2020). For

find out their previous record appropriately documents are required without any type of
fabrication. Therefore it is necessary for all institutes that they must develop their
unique symbol as a identify in their documents which was issued to students. This
strategy is very helpful for identifying right name and information about the candidate
effectively.

Reflect on the steps you have taken, and difficulties encountered in
producing the game for Assignment 2
At the time of studying college I received the wonderful chance for creating the
effective game. With help of this game students easily understand that in which way their skills
are able to reduce the academic misconduct in effective manner. But the main purpose of this
game is to maintaining the academic integrity in the institute for long period in front of students
and parents. In this game students have chance for determining the tools which is applied for
erasing the misconduct exercises easily.
For creating good game, I firstly used the idea for showing the significance of academic
integrity in fun mood. Due to maintaining entertainment in their presentation other students
listen the procedure of game very carefully. But due to some rising problems the procedure was
not implemented in systematic manner which are explained below -
 The first problem which I find in my strategy is game are not arranged in systematic
manner according to the idea. In first process the main purpose in my idea is to point
out the importance of academic integrity which is helpful for encouraging the students
internally. Due to internal motivation their skills are polished and also achieved
meaningful information which leads to enhance their career growth.
 The second difficulty which I faced at the time of developing game is that designing
effective or attractive graphics. It means due to having less IT awareness my ideas are
not effectively developed in appropriate plan. Due to this negative thoughts are
generated in the minds of those candidates who are participated in this game.
 The third difficulty which I faced regarding the game is framing meaningful questions
for students. It means that during the time of preparing game many different types of
questions are comes in my mind. But from all these questions only few questions are
understandable for me which I asked from students. With help of these questions minds

of the students are highly developed which is useful for handling any type of situations
easily.
 The final difficulty which I analyses during this game framework of different
regulations and rules in game and it is a very complex section for me. My ultimate
purpose for designing this game is to create fun atmosphere for each staff who are
working in the institute. With help of this game students of university realize the
significance of using their skills and preventing academic integrity in education field.
Reflect on the skills you have learned this academic year and those
emphasized in producing your game
During the time of game development, I get the wonderful chance for improve my
different types of skills which is essential for enhancing the career growth. Various skills which
I developed at the time of producing the game are explained below -
 Skills in information technology – It means the high use of technology in high rate by
the educational institutes or the students. The main purpose of using various technology
is to complete the task in fast manner. Therefore at the time of designing game I realize
that IT skill is a essential skill in any project. Due to this I completed course of IT form
my institute which helped me to create attractive designs and graphics in game
successfully.
 Communication skills – It basically refer to conversation between multiple people. It
means during the time of developing game I realize that game is not created by single
person or student. Therefore for developing effective game group of members are
highly required as a team. With help of these team different types of ideas and
creativity are applied which leads ton develop entertaining game successfully. Due to
participating in team I achieved lots of knowledge about the preparation of game.
 Effective writing skills – It refers to using of ideas in the written form effectively with
reliable data. Through this game my written skills are also improved which essential for
run the game in good manner. It means it is important for individual person that they
frame the questions in time in written format. Due to using this skill the intensity for
using their own ideas are highly increased which is essential for the growth of students
mind.

 Creativity skills – It means of using of unique ideas which is important for producing
the attractive games for students and others. Due to the use of unique ideas students
effectively understand that academic integrity played the major role in their life for
enhancing their career. It means that in institute I get wonderful opportunity for
executing my ideas by using different creativity in game. This skill highly helped me
for fulfilling main motive in this game.

Conclusion
After the analysis of above information it concluded that academic skills and integrity
played the important role for colleges or schools. It is also essential for maintaining
transparency and fairness in their functions towards parents. Because parents always believes
that children always select the right path for their career and due to this parents sent their kids to
institutes with out any fear. The main purpose following academic integrity by staff is to
manage the students in discipline for and also for reducing the misconduct activities in long
time. Reduction in academic misconduct also helped to enhanced reputation and performance of
institutes in high rate. Good reputation is very essential for maintain effective relationship with
parents for long period. Use of specialized teachers and course are also essential for increasing
the potentiality and ability of students for doing job in any company easily.
