INTRODUCTION
The personal learning and development is regarded as the approach which
mainly consist self-improvement. The individual learning and development is being
regarded as the continuous process which supports an individual in developing,
shaping and building the effective skills and abilities. This development helps in
nurturing the individual effectiveness for achieving vison and mission of life, also
helps in establishing builds the clear life goals. This report will give details about
reflecting on my approach towards the personal learning and development. Also
reflecting on the transferable skills that I have already learned. moreover, reflection
on the skills that I would like to develop during academics, workplace. Lastly
designing the personal development learning log and action plan
1.0 Self-reflection on personal learning and development,
and the transferable skills
Personal learning is a process which facilitates the success of each individual
after determining the needs, interests of individual person. Learning personally has
helped me in creating and achieving the goals by ascertaining the meaningful life.
These skills help in achieving and progressing individual towards success in life. The
personal development is considered as overall development of person, which
focuses on the building skills by understanding the knowledge. The transferable
skills are mainly those which helps an individual for growing towards the career and
helps in enhance career opportunities throughout the whole life.
1.1 Identification and reflection on my approach to personal learning
and development
Personal skills have helped me in communicating thoughts and ideas
for performing the task. These skills have encouraged the positive attitude for
successfully performing the work and passionately motivated me in forming the
desired result. These skills mainly include interpersonal skills, teamwork skills,
inattentiveness, willing to learn and hard, soft skills. The soft skills have helped me
in grooming the personality, managing the work and controlling the anger, also
helped in resolving the conflicts by easily understanding the problems and handling
them peacefully. By embedding these skills has also assist me in building the strong
relations at the workplace. With the personal learning and development skills has
aided in solving problems with the proper solutions. by using the various approaches
for building efforts more successfully. personal development plan also aids in
scheduling the time required for solving the problems and also assessed me in
achieving success.
Various approaches being developed for personal learning and development
mainly incudes. The social learning approach this has helped me in focusing on
my behaviour towards the work, instead of focusing on others. This has also
provided the benefits in learning the interacting tactics which others. This approach
also enhances the ease in learning by observing others thorough face to face
interactions, by personal interactions with other individuals.
With the cognitive approach to learning has helped me in learning and

memorizing the past knowledge. This mainly reflects on the material skills. This
approach provides assistance in learning effectively, with deeper understanding of
the subject. It also provides benefits in improving and recalling the content in the
long run. With memorizing knowledge also aids in embedding the problem solving
skills and study skills which can be applied to the subject. This has allowed me in
engaging actively in learning process (Clément and Dukes, 2022). These learning
formulation incorporates the emotional, behavioural, and self-regulating plan helps
in supporting the development of various skills. The cognitive skills also assistance
in sustaining the attention with the impulse control and provides feasibility in
thinking.
The various development approaches can be used for overall personal
development in performing work which includes: Setting smart goals and strategies
has helped me in simplifying and attaining the goals objectives. By making the notes
of the tasks and setting the specific and time based goals will help in overall
development. Developing the speed reading approach has helped me in actively
r4ecgnising the sentences and the tasks (Smalle and et.al., 2022). With the speed
reading has helped in concentrating more on the reading which has helped me in
barnstorming the mind, reduces the strain, save time by providing productive
development and working skills.
1.2 Identification of the transferable skills I have already developed
by attending this module
Transferable skills are those which can be transferred from on work to
another these, mainly includes technical skills, communication skills, creative skills,
leadership skills. These skills are being developed by the training process which
helps in enhancing the career throughout the entire life. By understanding this
module, I have developed various transferable skills which are as follows:
Problem solving skills are transferable skills which has helped me in
becoming more confident and independent by overcoming the problems with my
own perspective. These skills have assists in resolving the issue by examining the
problems, resolving it and learning the possible outcome by resolving the issue.
Transferable skill develops the ability to solve the mathematically problems and
helps in encouraging and taking the problem solving decision (Davies, Macaulay,
and Pretorius, 2019). I have also developed the good written and verbal skills which
has helped in understanding the information more accurately and also helps in
thinking and communicating the information. Also, with the written skills has
transformed my communication pattern with the information to the large audience.
These skills help in retaining the memory and provides the feeling of satisfaction in
performing the particular task.
I have also developed the good communication skills. By acquiring this skill
has assisted me in embracing in actively listening and seeking information. The
main communication skills involve the verbal skills, learning skills which has
provided techniques in understanding more efficiently. Also this ability has built to
enhance and check the weakness of the communication. The communication skills
furthermore help in providing the clear directions of the problems and work, also
promotes the actively engagement and involvement in the work being provided. By
embedding the effective communication has built the better and strong relationship
with the others.
Creative skills are also the transferable skills which I have developed while

understanding this module. Creative skills have helped me in improving the mood
which further helps in boosting morale. And creativity has helped me in providing the
more solutions to the and understanding the problems with new perspective. Being
creativity has helped in boosting the thinking skills which provides the new ways and
also guides with the ability to pursue the things in different manner (Hadi and et.al.,
2018). With the creative solutions generate positive attitude as it helps I relying on
the belief that the problem will be solved which further provides the strong
motivation and determination to achieve the goal and solve the problem with
creativity. These skills also block out the negative possibility in the surroundings.
I have also learned the critical thinking skills which is regarded as the transferable
skills. These skills have helped me in making more proper decisions which provides
the best solution for the particular action. By thinking critically has helped me in
examining all the motive as well as negative aspects of the work, issues. This helps
in reflecting on the past experiences. Which further provides the solutions based on
the experiences. By thinking critically has also helped me in the building the strong
perceptions logically. This also helps in removing the errors with the competent and
logically connecting the ideas and thought.
1.3 Skills I would like to develop during my academic studies,
personal life and the workplace
Various skills that I would like to develop during the academic studies and in
personal life which helps me in workplace mainly includes:
Time management skills: These skills will help me in academics by organizing the
life in more managed and complete the assignment on time. These skills will assist
me in studies by completing the given tasks, improving the performance and
lowering down the stress level in life (Abu Mostafa and et.al., 2021). These skills
provide the greater clarity, and confidence by helping in being focused and more
productive towards the studies and assignment. In workplace these skills will aid me
in delivering the work on time, by prioritizing the activities will help me in focusing the
important tasks in the workplace which enables to priorities the full attention and
focus on the work.
The time management skill will also improve the quality of life. Managing time
will also help in controlling the things and tasks and getting them gone within the
desired time frame. By knowing the fact that the task and the work will be completed
on time will being the sense of calmness in personal life which improves the quality
in personal life by relieving stress (Simanjuntak and et.al., 2021). The time
management skills will also make the individual more productive by efficiently doing
the work. As it intent me in finishing the work as early as possible without
compromising the quality in work.
Researching skills and networking skills: I have to develop the researching
skills as it will help me in finding the valuable and correct information being record to
perform the task in the academics, also in the workplace. These skills are mainly
used in building the projects and reports in the workplace which is the irreplaceable
member in the concerned workplace. I want to develop the Networking skills which
will builds the strong and good relationships in the workplace and in the personal
life. These skills will help me in improving the relations with other in the office and
also at the personal life. By embedding these skills will also help me in solving the
problem easily related to workplace which also helps in building the time
management, taking note of the accurate and valid information by giving attention

on the details being asked. As the research shapes the life and future as it teaches
us new things while adapting and evolving the information (Martikainen and
Hakoköngäs, 2022). Also, the networking skills will help me in building the
confidence, and strengthens the corporate relations by advancing the career
options. With more and more growing the networks will help in building the long-
lasting relations inn life.
By developing the content writing skills will help me in presenting the data
and information in more precise, clear and well manner. These skills assist in
workplace by communicating with the quick updates for the important task and
projects. The main purpose of the skills is to provide the well-structured form of
content and information which helps in understanding the available project in easy
manner. Also the leadership skills will help me focusing on better team working and
leading work efficiently on time.

approach towards the personal learning and development has enhanced with this
learning module. Also I want to develop various skills related to the team working,
leadership, content writing, time management, networking, researching. as these will
