Task One
Concept of PPD
PPD is a planned and systematic process which supports an organization in
creating a process through which personal and professional development can be
done (Kanes and et.al, 2017). In other words, it is a process which supports in
enhancing the required skill set which will be helpful in meeting the organizational
objectives and performance standards effectively and efficiently.
Determine the importance of short-term goals and state 3 examples
Short term goals are helpful in creating a clear path through which one can
focus on single thing with clarity (Steca and et.al, 2016). These goals are helpful in
enhancing focus and give direction. Few short-term goals which need to be achieved
are listed underneath:
Enhance communication skills
Daily spend 1 hour for studying
Get tutoring for maths this academic session
Determine the importance of medium-term goals and state 3
examples
Medium term goals are helpful in getting best of both goals and objectives
which supports in making maximum progress for the accomplishment of the
objectives (Ahmad and Chen, 2018). These goals support in being motivated and
always look forward towards long term objectives. Some of the medium-term goals
are listed below:
I will score 70% or higher grades in chemistry midterm exams
I will engage in saving money
I will improve my performance in English and will try to score more than 70%
Determine the importance of long-term goals and state 3 examples
Long term goals are related to the objectives which needs to be accomplished
in the future and require time and strategic planning (Datu, Yuen and Chen, 2018). Few
long-term goals which need to be achieved are outlined below:
