BUSINESS IDEA 2
Executive Summary
Customized online lectures and school is a modern approach to information sharing in education.
The whole idea is founded on the increased growth of internet resources which is
undifferentiated, which has become an inconvenience and not easily verifiable. The emergence
of social media has also taken up much of the learner’s time. We are integrating this into one
platform. We will gather information on education and research into one specifically controlled
platform for easy access and retrieval. The business model canvas used is also addressed.

control to their information and privacy. They will be able to restrict who see their posts and
profiles depending on the course taken, the school enrolled, or any part he or is playing on our
platform.
In other words, our platform is the place to be for the students, teachers, lecturers, tutors,
and researchers. The system will also have modules for each of these categories so that no one
sign in as a lecturer whereas is a student and vice versa (Rognerud, 2014). Each of these groups
will be assigned their specific categories with certain criteria being used to for enrollment to
ensure confidentiality and relevance in the selected category. Each category will also enjoy
certain rights privileges from the other apart from those shared.
This idea will attract the interest of the academicians, researchers, scientists alike who
need to interact and create networks with others in a well-controlled platform. And because of
the sensitivity and awareness of clients’ rights to their privacy control, we will offer this way for
them to choose.
Channels

will access our services through website and mobile and desktop software. The services will be
free. Other services offered will be paid advertising. The advertisers will only have to access our
website then pay for their advert which will be then taken over by our technician for
customization and optimization.
Customer Relationship
We value our customers, so the relationship with them has to be good. Visitors to our site
and software will have 24hrs customer care chat room and call for any inquiries. We will offer
free customized premium services which will help create the bond between the customers and us.
Our software will get updates regularly to patch securities and upgrades.
Revenue Streams
Our revenue stream will be from advertising services. At some point in long-run, we
expect to create a research portal where a pool of ideas will be conceptualized, build on, and
explored by those subscribed to the channel at a fee. It will act as a hub for researchers to test
their ideas with other researchers’ contributions.

BUSINESS IDEA 2
Key Resources
The key resources we expect to use are the programmers, information science and
technology technicians, data centers, internet providers, patents and copyrights, a permanent
office, computers and start-up finance.
Key Partners
Our venture will partner with internet service providers, data centers, schools, and
universities. Partnering with colleges and universities is critical to making sure that we have
quality lectures and educational resources. We will also partner with government education
agencies for quality control and assurance of the courses we will be offering.
Key Activities
The company will be undertaking management decisions, research, and development,
recruitments, marketing to solicit advertisements and customer services.
Cost Structure
We are offering a value-driven structure of service. Our clients expect quality lectures,
tutorials, researchers, projects and more, with a platform for networking securely and privately.
Since our venture is a web-based start-up and relies heavily on a high degree of data integration
and automation, which often have relatively low capital and operating cost, the value-driven
structure is suitable (Osterwalder & Pigneur, 2010). We will be able to offer solutions that are
highly scalable and very profitable once we hit certain customers’ base.
