AI Summary
This report presents an analysis of an airport terminal construction project undertaken by Hertfordshire Investment Corporation (HIC) for a UK airport. The project is divided into four phases: surface preparation and foundation, structure construction, interior building, and certification. A schedule was developed using MS Project to determine the project timeline, revealing a completion date of March 6, 2020, assuming a start date of January 7, 2019. The report focuses on the high-level structural construction phase, providing a detailed timeline and identifying critical activities. After incorporating project changes, the estimated completion date shifted to March 17, 2020. The report emphasizes the importance of efficient change management, regular project monitoring, and proactive risk management, especially concerning budget constraints, resource availability, and potential delays. The identified risks and mitigation strategies are presented, along with the project's schedule and change implementations.

The project schedule has been prepared with the help of MS Project application by
sequencing the activities in an appropriate manner. The activities has been arranged in a
sequential manner to demonstrate the flow of activities and the sequence which will be followed
to conduct the project. The project schedule has been prepared by determining the suitable
predecessor to demonstrate which activity will be executed after previous activity.
From the scheduling of project, it has been identified that it will be completed on Friday,
06 March 2020 with a duration of 305 days. The project will begin on Monday, 07 January 2019
and it will be carried in four different phases. There are dependencies and simultaneous actives
also in this project which has been demonstrated with the help of setting predecessors in MS
Project application as shown in Appendix 1.
